Yes, Alton said they learn 男 today. And I think Week 19 words (蟲, 男, 女) are taught for this week.

Just want to check if there're only 1 writing + 1 colouring homework for this weekend coz I can't find any homework book today.
Also, I suppose to receive the syllabus today but can't find it neither. Is that the same for you?

Have you seen they'd drawn some simple pictures on the back of the writing homework sheet? Calix is poor in drawing but this time I'm relieved that at least I know what he's drawing.
yes nicholas also drew some "things" on the back of the homework sheet and they looked horrible :) Ms Chan mentioned in the parent's interview that she will start to push the kids to draw more and its important once they start to write.

THanks for mentioning this. I now find these strange drawings at the back of the Fu Soen's homework sheet!
I find eyes, a big cross, a tree, a sun, a circle, a house.a curve,....it's a practice of their creativity??

Have you noticed that the teacher on the school bus put on sportswear today? Just heard from other threads that today is KV's Sports Day. Did your kids mention this to you? When I asked Calix about this before, he just stood straight, singing the school song and doing some exercises. Don't know if he really understood my question or not.
When I dropped Alton to school today, Ms. Lam said they have Sports Day today for IH and some classes. The school holds Sports Day from today til Wed. 1H and classes in the same phase holds today. Classes in the other side of the building will be held tmr.
Alton mentioned Sports Day before and he cannot tell me the exact date. Ms. Lam also said they will play some simple games like running, 拋豆袋.

Calix said that they'd "competition" with classes from 1A to 1H today. I asked which game(s) did he play and he just said, "1, 2, 3, 4...2, 2, 3, 4..." (seems like doing stretching exercises only). He also said when he grows up, he wants to stand on the stage too. As I guess he might mention about the prize-presenting stage, I asked what is written on the stage then. He said "many words...only teachers are on the stage...".
Calix had finished the show & tell today ("Family") and a brief evaluation report was received also. He had practised several times only at home and he didn't want to practise any more yesterday night as he said, "I don't want to present now...this is not the classroom." To my surprise, the teachers' comments are generally OK.
The teachers had kept the family photo which is said to be used for art & craft later.
O....it's Sports Day tdy!
No wonder Vianca told me they won in the game tdy. I asked her what game it's. She said "running", "throwing bean bags", "frog jump" and then she started doing exercise with her arms & counting "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6,7,8".....
