I think kids studying in THINK should be quite happy, as it use "activity teaching".   Is it correct that there is v. little homework for nursery -> K3?   And is the academic level lower than other traditional schools?

Someone mentioned "creatives" in this thread, what's the academic level if  THINK compared with CREATIVES?  Both of them are "activity teaching".

How much extra fee for Think except school fee $2800 per mth?????  which branch yr bb study??

Kowloon Tong branch is more expensive than other branches.

I remember you're looking for the one in MeiFoo, right?  My son is also studying in MeiFoo K1 morning bilingual.  We're paying HKD2800 per month.

Yes, MF branch ah.   How is yr son studying?  teacher is good??   any other fee need to pay?  activities?  tea ??

My son is very happy at there.  He learns and improves much after going to school.  The teachers and staff are very nice.


I list down the fee that I remember as follows:
(any Thing Parents pls correct me if I'm wrong, thx.)

School Fee - $2,800 (hald day); $5,000 (full day)

Uniform - forget the exact amount; LN & UN only need the sport suite; LK & UK need another suite as well

School Bag - forget the exact amount; LN uses the one in blue + yellow; upper classes use the one in brown + yellow

Books - $0 for LN; $1,xxx for upper classes

Tea - $0 (including in the school fee)

Activity - to be collected each time if you join the activity; some are free

Photo - $3 each photo; 校園生活photos will be taken by teachers/staff.  You can pay $100 in the beginning of the school year.  Then teacher will choose photos for you and deduct the amount from your $100.  You can also go to see and choose the photos at school by yourself.  Then you don't need to pay $100 but pay the amount of your chosen photos each time.

Portfolio - $150 (likes a summary of the year which will be given to the parents in Jul)

Do u think that "THINK" can improve kid's EQ and social skills?

Also, what academic things they will teach?  Like 1-10, A-Z, writing, etc etc.

For nursery class (2 age), do the kids learning A-Z, 1-10, etc?   Then writing at K1?

Agree.  English at Think seems to be better.

Concerning homework, there is no homework for int'l stream, and relatively more for bilingual stream.  The principal also stated that at the beginning of the year as the int'l stream places more emphasis on oral training and writing at a later stage, whilst the bilingual stream starts writing earlier so as to be prepared for the local primary schools.

My girl is in K1 only.  Her homework from the bilingual stream includes drawing lines, coloring, writing simple words like 1,2,3, concepts (opposites, colours,etc), and newspaper cutting/drawing/ (parents to be involved).  These are the ones she gets in a weeks' time.

I truly don't know the academic of other schools and thus can't compare.  We are happy with the school as we see our girl learn a lot not only academically but also social skills, manner, discipline, self care, etc.

then are all the staff (including amah) is good to the kids? as i heard some of the teachers seems rude. is that true?

The teachers whom I knew in both Kowloon Tong Branch and Lam Tin branch are nice. My kids and I are happy with the kinder.
