Re: Think International School
DomanFans,
Concerning homework, there is no homework for int'l stream, and relatively more for bilingual stream. The principal also stated that at the beginning of the year as the int'l stream places more emphasis on oral training and writing at a later stage, whilst the bilingual stream starts writing earlier so as to be prepared for the local primary schools.
My girl is in K1 only. Her homework from the bilingual stream includes drawing lines, coloring, writing simple words like 1,2,3, concepts (opposites, colours, etc), and newspaper cutting/drawing/ (parents to be involved). These are the ones she gets in a weeks' time.
I truly don't know the academic of other schools and thus can't compare. We are happy with the school as we see our girl learn a lot not only academically but also social skills, manner, discipline, self care, etc. |
