想請教吓高中方面，SJC 有甚麼資格先可以報三個選修科或以上？
係咪要初中三入到精英班先得？

我見到有啲同學報八科，有啲報七科。
報第八科嘅，係法文嘅人多，定係音樂嘅人多呢？

想請問, 如果要到貴校, 最方便有乜野交通功具到 ? 因為亞女要到貴校上堂, 我地住九龍, 唔多識香港既路!  最好係mtr 沿線, 再轉車到學校附近就最理想.

Per Ms. Chan's announcement at the hall on the result releasing day, if HKDSE if HKDSE 5* / 5** = HKCEE "A", the total no. of "A" is 8 less than that of year 2010. However, the number of students for HKDSE this year is 17x whilst that for HKCEE in 2010 is 20x. Therefore, the average A (5*/5**) per student of this year is better than that of year 2010.

但教育局唔係咁定義。
佢哋係以 DSE 4級等如高考HKAL嘅 D 嚟定等級參考。
當然，以往用常模參照，依家用水平參照，不能直接比較。

以往拉曲線只有頭5%可以係A，但依家夠水平就有，
唔會再收窄响呢個水平內只攞5%，自然多咗其他非傳統英中嘅學生攞到5**。
所以多咗學生攞5**未必反映到自己學校學生水平高咗。

我覺得新學制應同新學制比較，所以要睇多幾屆先可知學生係咪有進步。

1) 到金鐘地鐵站出，沿香港公園行到頂 (10 - 15 mins walk)，經兒童遊樂場上高出口出;

2) 到金鐘地鐵站出，在太古廣場外(呢度上車嘅話繁忙時間常滿！)搭兩個站(堅麗閣站) 23/ 23B 落車，步行幾分鐘;

3) 經灣仔地鐵站出，在修頓球場外搭23 (往蒲飛路方向) / 23B (往柏道／羅便臣道方向 ) 巴士堅麗閣站(四個站)落車，步行幾分鐘;

4) 的士。最方便！

HI, Derdad,

My son said the school requests all students to take 3 electives at F.4. Some students choose to drop one elective sometime after (not requested by school).

For those students who have not taken Chinese, they would probably take French. Others mainly take Music as the 8th subject.

I only quote what Ms. Chan said .

When the school releases full results, e.g. how many students admitted to universities degree course, the picture will be clearer. But the result of my kid's class seems not bad.

多謝。好多學校嘅學生，讀兩個選修科都有困難，呢度卻個個都要報三科，厲害！
唔知阿仔第時頂唔頂得順…


想再問：
1) 三個選修科中，係咪所有SJC嘅選修科，所有學生都可以自由揀嚟讀？
    定係某啲選修科，要成績達到某指標先可以報？

2) 係咪所有SJC學生，揀邊科都會有得讀？
    定係太受歡迎、太多人報嘅科，要抽籤先有得讀？

中、英、通識冇得讀。其實3個electives加Math =讀4科, 唔係好多姐。我哋當年都讀8-10科啦。

選科似乎是好成績有優先的。學校視乎多少人選決定某科開多少班。開多少班決某科收多少生。

也有同學Maths不合格被拒修M1/M2。

Your son is still young, no need to worry so early. Enjoy the school life la!

冇錯，我哋以前讀8-10 科，但只係讀到中五噃，依家要讀7-8 科，讀到中六呀…

其實依家新學制上堂都幾麻煩。以前唔夠課室就話有「浮動班」，
依家有課室，但係啲同學都要經常轉堂轉課室，都幾嘥時間。

有没哪位知道，每年精英班是否就是按全级排名呢？如果入精英班会否事先通知呢？

F1 student will know about it on end of Aug (pre school day).  F2-F6 students will know about it on the 1st school day on Sept only.

For F.2 to F.3, yes, the entry in to elite class is according to ranking of the form, except those students taking French, who are grouped in the same class.

For F.4 to F.6, the choice of M1 and M2 will also affect the class arrangement. However, students of better ranking will be grouped to the same class of M1 & M2 respectively.

中一嘅綜合科學堂 IS，係咪係學生都會入實驗室自己或小組做實驗？
Lab 巾係咪要買？
經學校統一買，定係自己買？
邊度會有得買？

除咗Lab 巾，仲有冇其他特別嘅制服、特別嘅書、或者證件之類嘅嘢要預早買定或訂造呢？
