嘩﹐終於有D麗港城分校既家長。

係呀﹐我個女讀全日﹐上午國際班-Bunnies﹐ 下午雙語班- UN。本來雙語班的梁老師走左囉﹐代替既係黃老師﹐但都係學校教左五年﹐傾落覺得都幾有經驗同愛心。

其實讀邊間幼稚園都幾睇你想報邊D小學﹐而我地暫時冇考慮轉﹐要轉都今年已經轉左。

My daughter is Jasmine. She likes the school and always sing different songs with interesting gestures. She also tells me several names of her classmates and what she plays at school.

Boys usually need longer time to get use to school life.

My girl is studying at Think(Kln Tong). I really appreciate the efforts of the teacher. She has got 2 class teahcers, one NET, one Hong Konger. The NET teaches 2 hours every day whereas the other one teaches 1 hour in Cantonese.

The school puts heavy emphasis on English but does not neglect Chinese. Students will have one-hour Chinese lessons in Cantonese and Putonghua in the second year and all Putonghua in the last year. Mine has learned some Chinese characters.

The teachers are devoted. My girl's teacher at least twice a week discussing all tiny details about her with me. A few days ago, the teacher called me saying that my girl got runny nose at school. She asked me to bring her to the doctor. She is caring and partient.

The head of the school once said in a parent meeting that it is the school policy that teachers have to keep close contact with parents.

She has many outings. For example, when it comes to the topic of Autumn, teachers brings the kids out to the park to pick dry leaves and let the kids notice the change of clolors of the leaves.

It is a good school.

It seems that there are not many Kln Tone parents here.

Dear TszChingMaMa: My elder son is studying full day at the Reception class of Kln Tong. He's very happy with the school. He really learns a lot.

I am considering sending my younger daughter to Kln Tong for UN as it's in a smaller class. Your daughter is in UN class? Do you think her teacher is experienced?

Do you know any comment of their elementary secion? I might consider it for my son.

Dear IJJK

Yes, my daughter is in UN.  Her Chinese teacher is very experienced.  Owing to a good teacher-student ratio, her teacher can remember all students well, even what they have said every day.

Her NET is just fine, neither too good, nor too bad.  She is not bad, but simply not as caring as her Chinese one.  She did call me twice in September telling me minor things about my little girl.

In my opinion, it is important that teachers maintain close relationship with parents.  Parents are always eager to know what happens to their kids, right?

想問今年讀Bunnies 的家長，你們的小朋友是否都係２００２年出生的？

昨日同女返學，有以下事件發生：

個同學仔的爸爸問：你個女幾大，
我答：３歲８個月，０２�０２出生，
爸爸：我個女今年年尾先夠３歲wor，點可以將佢２個放係一齊嫁．
我答：bunnies（國際班） 係跟年份收生嫁嗎，無問題wor．
爸爸：（面黑，唔講野，跟住走左）

所以想知大家的小朋友是否都係２００２年出生，又ｅｓｆ�STJ都好似係跟年份收生的，對不？

I'm not the Bunnies parents, but I think Bunnies and UN stuents are the same.  All Year 2002 students are in the same batch.  It's ok in the HK education scheme.

My son was born in Dec02 and he's in the same class of those were born in Jan02.  I know my son is almost 1yr younger than them, but I don't see there's big problem in the class.

I think that daddy probably doesn't know the scheme.  You don't need to be bother.

我想有問題的係那個爸爸﹐佢唔知道2歲8個月到3歲7個月都可讀K1﹐有D家長甚至3歲9/10個月先俾小朋友讀K1。可能佢唔明白這是幼稚園制度﹐仲以為係playgroup可彈性跟小朋友年齡安排分組。

係呀﹐我個女係1月出世﹐都係大女。但見到班房中既生日表(貼左小朋友既相係12個月份上)﹐發覺最少一半係一月生日﹐所以同其他同學都唔係差好遠。相反做細仔細女﹐同同學一比就好覺大細仔既分別囉。

但呢D優勢﹐我諗大D去到5/6歲可能就唔多覺lu。
