Tks,.... well, I'm not very sure yet whether this would help. At least I need to go through with my kid how to avoid missing to read the bulk of emails, the follow-up after reading each of them, and the way to retrieve them as time goes by. The ultimate goal is to develop in them a good habit and the proper etiquette for handling emails, among other things.
Perhaps parents of the senior form students can share their tips here
Tks for the update. For the oxbridge's offers, is it possible to know how many of the students obtain scholarships to cover all or part of the tuition fees (or even living expenses) for studying at the two uni?
I know that one got full scholarship... I don't have figures for all the rest of students.
(a)Each Scholarship awarded will generally be sufficient to cover fees, tuition, the cost of necessary books and equipment, board and lodging (preferably on a living-in basis where this is available at the University), and reasonable living expenses and travel expenses to and from the University at the beginning and at the end of the course in respect of which the Scholarship is awarded.
(b)
The Scholarship will include :
(i)
university tuition fees payable directly to the University;
(ii)
college fees excluding board and lodging payable directly to the College;
(iii)
an annual stipend to cover board and lodging and all other incidental expenses (subject to the discretion of the Trustees, the stipend will be payable in four instalments and the first instalment being larger to cover initial costs);
(iv)
the cost of the UK Immigration Health Surcharge; and
(v)
a standard economy class airfare to be reimbursed at cost to the Scholar from the place of residence to the United Kingdom at the beginning of the Scholarship and for the return journey to the place of residence on completion of the Scholarship period.
