Oh my boy is just the same as yours!  

In past 3 weeks, I train him in this way (my maid has her long holiday):

I choose his favourite pants for him to wear and then I tell him if he makes it dirty, he has to change for another one.

He never wee wees on his pants again amazingly!

And now I teach him to pull down his pants by himself.  Step by step, don't worry!  They can do it sooner or later, right!

My hubby and I prefer hkps to km.  the foreign teachers there are real blonde which is more impressive than those in km.  however, we can only get a place in pm class.  

yes, hkps or km is permanently a back up for us, if no better school can be secured in k1, we will stay at the original nursery.  I guess nursery is also important as no one knows the chance of getting into a better kg.

how old is yr son? what class that he will be studying in sept?

Hi, my boy is 2.5 years old and he will go to K1 in this fall. Same as you, we get the seat in pm session only since most of the place in am session is reserved for the original pre-nursery students.

I've called the receptionist of HKPS arranging a visit on this coming Sat morning.  (A staff would lead the visit.)  Any questions/aspects you would be interested to explore?
I would check with:
-the campus & facilities
-hygiene policy
-curriculum
-ECAs
-uniform
-attitude of the teachers & staff
-atmosphere

今早睇報紙, 話金巴倫道 19 號地皮招標出售, 正是 hkps 校址, 唔該明日可問吓點樣, 呢點好重要呀

What's the implication of the news?  The school would move somewhere else?
I would go to visit HKPS tomorrow but I don't think the teacher/staff could answer this question.

Any other comments? Would you choose another kindergarten if there's an uncertainty?

My child is studying at K2.  Of course, I want my child to continue studying at HKPS until graduation. She really loves the school.  But, if the tenancy agreement is to be expired by July this year.  The new owner might not renew the tenancy agreement.  Then, what is the school's plan ?  Move to other place ?  The time is so short.  I think you might ask the school principal tomorrow if you have the chance.

Hi All,

我今朝與仔仔參觀了學校, 情況如下:
1) 校監會盡力投標, 結果會儘快通知家長. 昨天校長已跟老師開會講這問題, good response!
2) K1(nursery class)的班房多數設於二樓, 需行比較"大人"的樓梯, 每級窄而扶手高, 我個仔掂/扶唔到!
3) 班房分大小兩種, 30人(國際班)/20人(本地班), 師生比例約1:10. (國際班有兩位普通話老師及一位NET)
4) 每日上課前在操場集隊及活動
5) 國際班及本地班每日均有20分鐘普通話專題.
6) K1音樂堂是唱遊加敲打樂器, K2開始會集中教授小提琴或笛(2選1), 音樂室有grand piano!
7) 大量各種各樣的課外活動
8) 不設考核, 但每學期有兩次評估, 老師會寫報告, 有照片及art work作品各兩款
9) 逢星期五不設學習主題, 全日均是reading day, 由老師進行1:1讀書. 另每星期有一節蒙特梭利學習時間(希望無記錯!)
10) k1下學期要寫字, k3全是下晝班
11) 洗手間內會分男女兩邊, 設備ok 啦! 有點舊, 有抹手紙, 不全是自動出水, 也沒有清潔泡沫, 以03年才開辦的學校來說, 有點似是上手租戶留下來的. 上課日有校工專責在洗手間協助幼童
12) 進入學校有消毒雙手的設施及量體溫, 但不用換鞋. 星期六校工姨姨均很努力為所有設施進行清潔.
13) 校服方面, 黑鞋&波鞋(不是純白色的都可以), 冬天天冷可穿自己的厚外套.
14) 今早只接觸到中文老師, 我估是香港人, 但她對著學生時也會說流利普通話. 態度良好, 對小兒不是太熱情, 只集中招呼及解答我的問題
15) 校車問題, 要等到七月跟校巴公司聯絡, 另稍後學校會寄信給我們辦理入學手續, 七月取校服及有orientation program.

但我沒有問升小學的問題(太因人而異), 也忘記了詢問新生入學適應等問題, 也許留待七月吧! 報告完畢, 希望對大家有幫助.

Hi All,

For me, I will pay the school fee of Victoria and wait for the result of HKPS.     
It's quite expensive but I have no choice.  I should pay on 5 May.

what a big news!!  I just gave up the interview of learning habitat last Sat as I've decided to choose hkps.

I've paid the registration fee of both hkps and km.   i will keep an eye on the latest news of hkps as it is my first choice.  

希望hkps可以在原址辨學啦!  好擔心呀!   :cry:  :cry:

呢個因素, 真的另人卻步, 雖校長話學校會想買回, 但業主放售始終係價高者得, 都唔知結果如何. 而學校有好似冇 contingency plan, 預備將來.
