I still on the swing between KTS and MCS;I hope her school life will be a memorable and happy one,that's why I still undecided yet. I hope you will understand. By the way , do you mind tell me which school did you choose for your kid in 1st round?

Hi Superray66,

I am not a SC parent but my daughter is also accepted by KTS.  May I know why you may choose KTS instead of MCS if this is the final case.  Because I am also gathering information on KTS for my final decision after the 2nd round result in next year and indeed I have very good impression on the interview day with it.

my choice for the 1st round is 浸信會呂明才小學, since I have 20 points if I choose this one, however, I can't get it.  This is also a very famous school.  Anyway, I normally want my daughter to enter GH or DGJS, so I am not really care about the draw.

KTS is 九龍塘小學right?  I am not quite familiar with this school but I know it's a good school.  I also applied it but my girl is rejected.  However, I am surprise that you got good impression on the interview day, as my daughter don't like the campus and it seems very old.

Both schools are good. One of the difference is, KTS - seems less pressure  & MCS - same religion and so considering which school is better for her.

Are you live in Shatin district? I know the school you mentioned above is a very good school in Shatin district.  Do you have any prefernce if accepted by  both school (I mean GH & DGJS)? Are you satisified with your daughter's interview performance during the DGJS interview? My daughter give a 'strange' answer to one of the question asked by Mrs. Dai ( In my point of view) :

yes, you are right, 浸信會呂明才小學is a famous school.  Yes, I live in Shatin distict, but not the same school net of this school.  So, I don't think I can get-in from the 2nd draw.

For GH or DGJS, I prefer DGJS, since it is a full day school and I have same religious with it .  For the DGJS interview, I have no idea how was my girl's preformance as she always tells me she did good.  What I can say is, Mrs. Dai really "looked" at me and my husband after the interview.  My feeling is that my daughter maybe better than the other girl who have the interview at the same with her.  Well, this is the most "hard enter" school in HK, I  will not have lots of hope on it, especially after I recevied a reject letter from KTS.

Nobody know what exactly a school expects from an applicant and every school's criteia may not be the same. Only thing I believe is that God will show us the way.

For lucky draw in June, still have the chance to get in for Part I, just try again if you really want and think this is the best for your kid.

我朋友的小朋友也是讀SC, 但沒有你們那麼幸運, 今年考了10幾間, 祗有1間二線小學收。現在很徬徨, 惟有等出年6月時, 希望能後補入心儀的私小/直資小學。
