Re: 陳守仁2nd In....

But I have some discontent because when we rehearsed the picture in the classroom, the teachers says it's up to us to decide whether to use cantonese or english. I therefore use cantonese to go through the picture with my son. But my son told me after the interview that the whole process was in english and therefore he also introduced the picture in english which means he did not have any rehearsal, how comes??? Does anyone have the same problem with me?
funfamily, I asked the teacher the same question. Before I started, I raised up my hand and the teacher came to me then I asked her - do we have to do the presentation in English? Her answer is either English or Cantonese, it's up to you. After hearing this, my son said to me "gum cantonese lah". Since it's him who would do the presentation so I allowed him.
We are no. 3 and since the girl at table no. 2 spoke quite loudly, I could hear that she was preparing in English so I guess she would use English for the presentation.
However, after the interview when I asked my son (again and again), are you the only one used Cantonese... he said everyone in his group used Cantonese.
I think kids at this age is like that - they would like to observe what others do and follow, they may feel uncomfortable if being different. I believe I still know my son well and I believe that if kids no. 1 and no. 2 used English, my son would "change his mind" and use English to present even though he prepared in Cantonese. Using the same logic, I believe this is why he didn't do what I asked him to do - I asked him to stand up and say "hello everyone, my name is ba ba ba" then do the presentation. I asked him to remain standing throughout the whole presentation. However he didn't do what I told him he said everyone else remain sitted when doing their presentations and noone said things like "hello..."
I hope he would change/ he would feel more comfortable to be different. I will try to be patient. *kiss* *kiss*
Anyway, it's more fun and exciting to have group interview. Not that good to let us feel directly competing with each other though... |
