I just saw the school information. They are not 12 year through-train school. Then which secondary schools do the students usually go into?

And its 直屬中學 is St. Stephen College which is a government subsidised school. Is there higher chance to go into this school? And is this secondary school also as good as the primary one?

Sorry for so many questions as I want to choose a suitable school for my kid.

(星島日報報道)有逾百年歷史的傳統名校聖士提反書院，已正式拍板於○八年九月轉為直資，每年學費四萬二千元，該校計畫在轉制後取錄海外學生，提高學生的國際視野，並考慮推行強制住宿計畫，宿費將包括在學費之內。

　　為與私立的附屬小學「結龍」，南區英中名校聖士提反書院已決定於○八年九月，由中一開始分六年轉為直資，每年學費為四萬二千元，該校校長羅懿舒接受《英文虎報》訪問時表示，轉制後學校在課程設計、收生及教學語言上，均享更大彈性，亦有更多資源提高教學質素。

　　中學轉制後將由現時零學費，增至四萬多元，但羅校長表示，不擔心增加家長的財政負擔，「小學家長都支持轉制，而且中學學費較小學現時五萬二千元的學費為低。」該校並會預留四分一學費收入作為獎助學金，其中一成半收入用作學費減免，一成則用以獎勵在運動及音樂表現出眾的學生。

　　還有兩年才正式轉直資，但羅校長已有全盤發展大計，計畫轉制後取錄海外學生，包括來自東南亞的學生，「轉直資後我們可服務更多不同的學生，提高學生的國際視野，又可擴闊眼界。」她續稱，校方亦考慮要求所有學生強制入宿數個月，以方便培訓學生領導才能及溫習技巧，詳情未定，但宿費將包括在學費內，不會另行收費。

　　羅校長指，轉制後會開辦更多不同語言的課程，如法語課程，讓學生能參加海外考試﹔亦會增聘以英語及普通話為母語的教師，加強學生兩文三語的能力。聖士提反書院多年培訓出多位政經名人，如東方海外集團主席董建成、香港體育協會暨奧委會會長霍震霆及敦豪（DHL）國際集團主席鍾普洋等。

Besides, there are some fee-based ECAs:
-        Tennis

The ECAs are held after school. You can arrange your child to take another round of school bus with additional cost (1st round 3:15pm, 2nd round 4:45pm)

In addition to ECAs, students are assigned into 4 houses (社). During Swimming Gala and Sports Day, Students would be participating actively as athletes, workers, or cheering team members. These events are very enjoyable!

Yes, it is a must that every kid learns one musical instrument. However, it is optional for students to choose their tutor outside school. Many parents opt piano for their children.

My daughter also received the acceptance letter today. I'm so glad!

In the past, the school will ask which instrucment you'll like your kid to learn.  If you have no idea, the school will do the screening, and choose for them depending on their ability.
