Don't get upset, those people are just stupid and ignorant. You can predict what kind of persons their kids would grow up to be with that kind of teaching.

What goes around comes around! One day if they have Pakinson's disease, their own kids may laugh at them and say, "mom, you are shaking, ha ha ,it's so funny."

My son made the test (池力供震) when he was 8 mons old in st.teresa hospital. this is useful in my case. his left hand and feet was development delay cause by the brain cell damaged. we brought this report to government hospital to apply therapy for him. otherwise I have no idea when we will find put the actually problem.

how old of yr son now?  any service can Government provide to yr son re the 池力供震? or they usually did their assessment first and assign training for him.  Since you did 池力供震 in the St. Teresa Hospital, after that found out the problem of yr son what advice/service they can give?

Do you think it is worth to do the 池力供震 to truely confirm which part is damaged at the brian?

He is 11 mons now.
I am sure this is the only way to find out the real problem in the brain.  I am so glad that I do this test for my son because no doctor can told me what is the real problem.
St.teresa will not do any follow up for you. but they will give you a report that shown the result and suggestion.
My case is follow by PWD hospital when he has born. At the beginning, the doctor will try to use ultra sound to scan the brain. but it was not clear enough and only wasting time. After this process, they will refer to do MRI test. As I knew the minimum time for queuing is 1 yr in government.
So I do it in private hospital. then I bring the MRI report back to PWD for referring traning. PWD gives me very quick reponse and provide the OT/PT training. Even they so called this is emergency case, but I still need to wait minimum 2 mons to start training.
As per my opinion, you need to discuss with yr doctor before you did it.

I put my son in a summer school for a test run during the summer holiday. The first day off school i asked what he did at school. He said a bad boy teased him for being"funny". This happened consistently the following few days and its always the same boy...  i didnt quite expect that ridicule can actually come to him at so young an age.  what worries and saddens me more is that he can actually sense rejection and gets anxious about it already....  he is generally a happy boy. quite a pleasant company really. he has a very endearing naivety which i cherish dearly. I really hope he can just stay like that for as long as possible during his childhood.   sometimes i wonder if i am choosing the right path for him by stressing him thru various therapies in the hope of his becoming more "typical" but only ending up planting seeds for his unhappiness too early.  Isnt life about being happy after all?  but having that said, how many of us dare choose otherwise?

my son's nature is quite similar to your son, he is happy, cute, naive and affectionate. Most adults enjoy his company. But as he grows older and taller, all these cuteness and sweetness are gradually faded, people (I mean ordinary people, not close friends or relatives) becomes less tolerant, his naivety becomes something people laugh about or may take advantage of.

I think you are right to engage him to do all these therapies, our sons need those skills to survive in the real world, we can't guarantee that we are able to protect them under our wings forever. We also can't rely on luck that our sons may not meet wicked people. That's life.

thanks for sharing ur view and foresight. while hoping what i am doing now may help my boy cope better with life later on but i also hate to realize i might be spoiling his precious childhood with memories of going from therapy to therapy. i really hope he wont remember much of this.  

if only this world we r living in could be a bit more forgiving...

my son is just like yours.  he is a cute and happy boy (of course when he is not getting mad).  he's only 2 yr and 9 mth old now and seem not much different from other children.  but i know the gap will keep widening when he grow up.......

i cannot say i am not sad at all, but i will try to help him and make him live happier.

to me, he is a lost angel down to the earth, to help us look into the meaning of life, train us to become a better man, train us to help other people in need......

all parents here please be stronger~~~~ i wish all your children live happily~

My son had done the MRI(磁力共震) in St. Teresa half an year ago due to head injury. There were 9 films in total and with 12 small scalps images in each film. The report was only "No significant  intracranial injury is evident".

Do you think that I can use these films to ask those specialist for report about brain cells damaged?

I don't know....maybe this is a very silly question.
