However, the best way is to collect more objective opinion from some more sources.
An individual's opinion may not reveal the whole picture.
Sorry that I am not able to give you very concrete opinion.

2) Also, is this a meeting for parents only or the newly admitted kid have to attend this as well?

Family education is much more important than the school. We are the role model of our kids, how can we ask our kids to behave if we are not.
It is no use even your are graduate from Oxford or Cambridge, but you don't get a warmhearthed spirit

It is pity to the kids who has such kind of parents. I believe both SFA and TSL is good but not all  parents are.
