Mine is blue tag 17. As far as I know, the assessment is for the class allocation.

I am sorry that I may missed some point regarding the English reading website introduced by the school. Is this a compulsory one or just an option to student?

Besides, do anyone know why P2->3 and P4->5 will have class re-allocation. What is the reason why they have to make such an arrangement? The principal state crystal clear that there are no elite class. So, what is the criteria behind for that re-allocation? This make me a bit anxious . . .

(I understand from the principal that P3->4 class re-allocation is grouped by religion, that one fine for me!)

My daughter was with a green tag.  According to the school, the classes had already been fixed.  They were not trying to put the girls into classes based on the assessments that morning.  Just wanted to see if there's any classmate of my daughter here - the green tag holder.

My daughter is in Yellow class . She said the teacher is young and nice .
She said the assessment had 2 pages for each subject. She said the ENG and Chinese is not difficult . However , she said the Math is not easy. She cannot answer 2 questions in Math's paper.
A mum told me that the ENG online reading  exercise is good as her elder daughter has joined it .
The price is reasonable . The children can develop a habit of reading everyday on her own .
I will join this online reading scheme.

Why you feel anxious????? Most school do that every year

From P2 to P3 it will allocate all catholic kids into same class for better religious course and arrangement.

For P3 to P4 and P4 to P5 there will be a mix of classmates from all 4 different classes and they can know more friends in these years instead of same classmates in the 6 years.

25 marks : sure win;
20 marks : 只有少少機會,小學會抽籤決定;
15 marks: no hope.
I got the place by central allocation , just by luck .
You need to find a private school as back up , e.g. GHS, APS, SFA, etc.

How about the attitude of your daughter's class teacher? Nice?
My daughter's class teacher is very nice.
Have you read the website of SMCS? There are photo of 家課板 each day. So, you won't miss the important items / reminders from school / teacher.

I can't tell the class teacher is nice or not at this stage and I don't know which subject she'll teach in 1A. She is fat and she's around mid 40's.

But from the homework posted in web, I found that she is not so detail as other class. For example, she didn't write new books will send to school on Tuesday, but others class did. Maybe the teacher told them in class.

So far, my daughter loves the school and I'm very happy!
