我都已經立定決心, 比我囝囝讀劍嗚 – pm International Class了!

我又係好似妳咁, 有去SC 同KV interview, 但兩間都係無收, SC 就係waiting list.  當初又係一心一意好想個仔讀SC, 同其他人心態一樣, 好相信名牌效應. 但當知道結果後, 又係要調節自己, 諗清楚要比囝囝讀邊間好!

講真, 除左KM, 其實仲有幾間學校有收我個仔, 但我思前想後, 同埋好似妳咁做左一D research, 發現其實KM 都係一間好好的學校, 所以我立定決心, 比囝囝讀!

唔知第時妳囝囝同我囝囝會唔會係同班同學仔呢?

我都有報宣幼, 我又係好似妳咁諗, 心想如果宣幼收, 就讀宣幼放棄KM, 但其實我都有好似Monmantong講嘅concern ! 除非宣幼可以直升上宣小, 否則我又係好怕宣幼生出去考私小或直資, 唔夠其他九龍塘的幼稚園畢業生爭!!!  所以, 我曾經打算放棄唔去宣幼in (我囝囝係今個星期六in), 但我d朋友叫我唔會放棄個chance,照去in, 收左先再諗!

唉….. 我都唔知點好, 我老公就話照去in 啦, 等個仔自己選擇呢………. 可能佢到時in 得唔好, 咁就表示佢唔想讀宣幼呢 (話是話, 我個仔in 得最好係喺KM, 唔知佢係唔係鐘意係KM 讀囉!)

hehe, if i didn't open this topic, will you show up? I also find most of the moms here hestiate to send their kids to KM because of the name of the school(new), or most of them(including myself) will still buy the " famous brand".

Now after this experience, i have some sharings,
sometimes if we choose the " famous brand " school for our kids, it is similar to us entering into a "famous company". however, there are numerous  of staffs inside the company,  facing big competition. Howeve, this company won't change its rule or policy to " suit" you, instead you have to suit it . However, if you are weak in some area, you have to strengthen it by yourself rather than the company especially takes care of you. sometimes, maybe some course will be provided.
but you may not be the most outstandning in this school.

However, if you are entering into a smaller size company, and the company's style is suitable for you, you will work happily inside and easier to express yourself.  also, maybe you can learn more in this small sz class company.
so base on my son's charater- so passive, 慢熱, i think it is better to put him into a smaller size class.

I think my son will be in same class with your son.
BTW, which month of his birth?

雖然每班有3個老師
但我先生覺得太過擠迫
D課室又唔係咁大
點能夠容納咁多小朋友呢(當然學校有佢的方法)
但我先生唔係咁鍾意
所以暫時會揀KM
至於最後結果,可能大家都唔知

我唔係唔想show up 啊! 而係我真係仲未搞清楚自己會唔會比個仔讀劍嗚. 因為正如我同QQ2003咁講, 如果宣幼收, 我有可能比阿仔讀宣幼而放棄劍嗚.

當然, 如果宣幼唔收我個仔, 我就一心一意讀劍嗚了! 唔再考慮其他已經收佢個D學校了!   如果收, 又要諗一諗……… 所以有時好阿Q 咁諗, 唔IN 未唔駛煩囉……..

如果妳宜家唔開呢個TOPIC, 我都可能遲D 去開架!! Heeeee………..

啊! 妳7號in 完宣道, in 成點啊? In 得耐唔耐啊? 妳覺得有無把握呢?

我個仔就 in KM 最好, 其次係York, 最差就係KV 同SC 了!!! KV 同SC 係同一日IN, 佢直情個日的表現衰到無人有………. 諗起都激死………..

what school are you talking about ? 30 students? SC or KV?
" 至於最後結果,可能大家都唔知"--- yes , agreed, there are still few months to go, there maybe so many changes in school, our mind-set.

reviewed again myself, if SC accepts my son at 1st round, i never review again for other schools and consider in more details .

As it is a sharing web site, i am so happy to know more from here.
Re 宣幼- it is your own decision, of course you also have to respect your hubby;  It is also a good kindergarten, but it is better to
search more info about it, eg: how to catch up with the primary schools, the academic level, the teaching method..

不如咁講啦! 我會去IN 宣幼, 但我會睇下到時囝囝的表現再決定, 如果佢個日IN 得唔好, 我自己心裡有數宣幼唔收, 我就乜都唔駛諗了!  但如果佢個日IN 得好, 我覺得有CHANCE 宣幼收佢, 我就會即刻做D research, compare 宣幼同劍嗚的 pros and cons 了!!!!

yes, he does. He is in PN class for 3 hours in a school near my home. He studied happily and already became more opened then before. However, if he enters a new environment with a lot of people, he will still like to stick to me and become more " shy". I really want to build up his confidence.

Also, i observed nowsday a lot of children ( over 5 ages or above), are impolite though their parents always teach them and remind them.
Also, they are so passive and not eager to say "hi" to stranger, maybe it is the culture in HK, and traditional teaching method. So, i think I want to strengthen this area of my son, sometimes home education is important, but if the teachers of the schools do not demonstrate for them, they won't do.
But i heard from my friend that he saw a lot of Km k1-2 students are very polite and willing to communicate with people, even though strangers, and they are happy and show confidence on themselves.  This is one of the thing I " buy".
But i will also go to this school to learn more , if it is true.
