Yinyin, KeenMind kids school life當然係好開心, 不單止只小朋友連父母都會覺得好精彩,佢地所見, 所學的比其他kinder小朋友多好多.唔信, 你睇下佢地的網頁, 又會有幾多kinder 有咁正的網頁呢.

我同朋友通電時佢未知結果,不過好就唔鍾意聖心唔係科科用英文教,唔似得德望,你唔駛啦,除非大抽獎中左,不然都係讀sfa,程度高幾班同埋最緊要係岩你亞女讀(如果地區唔係你考慮的話)
我睇過亞仔來緊小學既text book,所有嘢都係中文,數學好淺(似km k2)而英文更係km 既 k1程度, reader 就未睇過,所以我相信佢應該應付到,都冇咁驚

If you take KV, you probably need tol send your kid to take extra English oral class held by NET (I know some of KV students even attend Int'l kinder in pm or am).  Overall the standard/syllabus between KM and Kentville is mostly the same but KV 名氣勁d.  If you are target SFA, no doubt, they both can meet its requirement.  我小朋友係出面上英文班時,當中有sc 同 kv學生,好明顯係oral 方面kv會比sc同km既學生 weak, 佢地冇咁主動發問,但係抄寫方面就好掂. 而km活動好多肯定你同小朋友會有個美好回憶

is your kid studying in KM now ? besides SFA, my target is also KLn tong alliance kindergarten,, so what do you think.

actually i do mind there is no Net in Kv, but if he is studying in KV, and i sent him to study English class 2-3 times a week, do you think it is enough?

Re km活動- do you mean the interesting courses by KM on sat? then if i send my boys to outside center, is it same ?

Yes, My son is also from KM (Keen Mind).  SFA, KLN Tong Alliance, KLN Tong Primary School, DBSPD, all are good private or DSS schools and I think those are most parents' target schools.  If I choose, I would prefer SFA rather than KLN Tong Alliance especially for boys, coz most of them can get a seat in KLN Wah Yan.

Of coz, and that's what most KV parents do.  It really difficult to tell enough or not, it depends how much your kid can absorp and how good the NET is.

KM provides many opportunities for kids to perform their talent and to build their confident.

你細仔應該考st. joseph. 我咁睇:如果係sfa操得fit既話,P2可試下插班Marymount or 軒小(要入精英班,咁細佬可以跟埋), 你到時就可以過番大海

Could you advice me the details of Learning English Center as you mentioned on your page?  Since I also look for good english center for my kids.

Also if admit SFA, is it need to do more Partices Papers on those Center?  Could you advice me the details, thanks.

Regard Keen Ming, Could you tell me how much for those activities charge ? and what kinds activites ?
such as Camberbridge english Course, Madarian courses??

Dear Masaka,

The English Centre that my son has attended already closed down.  I have tried Happy Seed for almost 1 yr when he was K1 and there's one SC and one KV in the class too.   

I dont know if extra practices papers needed for SFA (you may check with those existing SFA parents in other forum).   (sorry my son did not apply for SFA and I just here 搭下咀)

In KM, there are  Mandarin Choir, Chinese calligraphy class and English Phonic held every Saturday (sorry I cant remember the price)

I forget some information.  How about your son admit which Primay School?  Could you sharing how to 培育 your kid?  Which kind centers are good for study?  Some mum said Kuman English & Chinese are good?  How about your comments?  

Also what you comments on Keen Mind?

Dear Masaka,

It was almost 2 years ago that my son attended the English Course in Happy Seeds whose was highly recommeded by my friends.  You can call and have a trial first, sometimes it's good to me but doesnt mean it's good to everyone.  But compared with the tuition fee, class ratio and teaching materials, I think it is acceptable.

Sorry, 我自己都好失敗唔識點培育小朋友,但係咁細小朋友我覺得俾多d機會去表現自己増強自信心,多d參加唔同既activities,睇下佢地本身既興趣同天份,再加以培訓,而道咁多入到sfa既家長應該更有資格俾到意見你, 不過每個小朋友都好unique,個個都有唔同既特性,岩你亦未必岩自己既小朋友.

My son only attended Kumon Maths and I think it's quite useful and help him to do the maths more quickly without using his fingers.  I only focus on more in languages and activities on sports/music instead of acadamic coz I think what he learned from school is far enough for him.
