Good Luck to all prospective candidates. The principal will just ask common sense questions such as where have you been on last Sunday. I have four kids. The eldest studies in St Paul's Convent, the second in DGS, the third in Wah Yan, and the last in HKUGAPS. I think this school is the best among the four schools in terms of developing a child's outlook. It focuses on the personal development of a child. The homework requires creativity and my kid is able to develop an inquisitive mind through the assignments.

Hope you all get enrolled as it is really worth the value.

我在自行收生時報了聖馬可, 有一條龍Band 1英中, 又不用比學費, 若HKUGA 選了我個女真唔知點揀, 很頭痛, 有無家長可以比d意見呢??

I want to ask how you compare St. Paul Convent, DGS and the HKUGAPs which offers IB curriculum in F4-5.  Which do you recommend for primary study and secondary study ?

I can only say they are all very good schools. If your child gets into any one of them, you should let them stay on from primary till secondary. HKUGAPS' secondary section has not yet started. So no one knows how good it is going to be. My preference will be HKUGAPS over the other three schools that my other three children are studying. This is only a preference.
I am a volunteer of HKUGAPS responsible for assisting the teacher at arts lesson. I found the children are all very outspoken, keen to ask questions and very co-operative in class. I can feel they have been chosen very carefully  among  the 1200 candidates that applied for P1 of their time. Local traditional schools tend to train students to keep quiet in class as a sign of obedience, but HKUGAPS thinks otherwise. I can say in the short and long run, HKUGAPS students' overall performance will excel local schools. That is from my personal experience gained from my four children. Mind you, the homework of HKUGAPS is not easy stuff.
