Too bad to hear that!  

Actually, I don't know much about this course.  At first, I wonder whether the duration of this will be too long (18 sessions).  However, I want to let Brian try some new courses besides those offered by Learning Habitat, so I chose it.

By the way, did Preston join other courses before?

Maybe Brian like the course, it's only preston did not enjoy it, some of his classmates like it and will conitnue but they are a bit older (3 yrs old).
Preston had joined a few other playgroups b4, now want to try something he enjoys, but it's difficult to find (time, place, $....).

I heard from my colleagues that a wide variety of playgroups are held in Kowloon Tong area.  Maybe you can think about this.

Thanks, I will think about it and find it later. It's very busy this month and the coming month, lots of applications to fill in and interviews to go.
How's the music class today, did Brain like it? Is the teacher Miss Law? I think she's OK but not enough patience and experience to handle younger kids.

Applications and interviews?  Will Preston study in another kindergarten next year?

Well, Brian didn't like the music class.  There were four kids in the class, two girls and two boys.  Brian is the smallest one.  He couldn't answer any question and he couldn't follow the drawing task.  He asked for leaving soon after it started.  He even cried.  The teacher asked me to bring him out as he was disturbing the class.  He joined again in the last 10 minutes but he still wanted to go.

The teacher is Miss Ho.  Same as Miss Law you've mentioned, Miss Ho was not patient enough and I could see she started to ignore Brian's presence when she found Brian didn't follow.

By the way, how was the Open Day today?  I didn't bring Brian to school finally.

Too bad to hear that, last time I joined, I asked for a trial lesson and he was OK in the first class so I decided to join. Hope Brian will adapt it later.
I applied several other kinder for preston. Just for some experience for him, not yet decided which one to go. I actually like LH, so maybe will continue next year.
The open day was fun, only preston did not like to perform. Otherwise, he enjoyed playing the cars and balls and his friend.
Is Brian getting better in class?
Will you go to the picnic in Nov?

According to Miss Hung, Brian's performance improved a lot throughout these two months.  However, Brian got a flu last week so he was absent for three days.  When he returned on Monday, he became dependent and he cried more frequently.  I think he needs some more time on it.

Yes, I will go to the picnic with Brian.  However, my husband will be on his business trip at that time, so he cannot join.  How about you?  Will you join?

Have you prepared any costume for Preston to wear on Friday?  I have chosen bumble bee for Brian.  Not so related to Halloween but it's cute.

Will you apply for other kindergarten for K1? Actually, LH is quite good and may consider to continue next year.

I don't plan to apply for other kindergartens for Brian for K1 as I think LH is a good one.
However, I do agree with you that Brian can gain some experience through interviews.
Well, will it be too late to apply?

No of course not, go to '談幼稚園' and check out the application time for different kindergartens and give it a try. Just for experience and see how well can Brian do.

Thanks for your information.

Brian had his second music lesson yesterday.  I guess he is too small to follow the instruction.  He couldn't sit down calmly for the workbook activities.  It's hard to keep him stay in the room for an hour.  However, I could see that he likes dancing and playing with the piano.

This course should be suitable for kids over 3 yrs

Agree, it's better for kids around 3 years old. Preston also likes music and dancing. He learned everything in class and did all at home, just did not like to do in class. So i did not join the second part which has justed started. Don't want to waste $. Are u going to parents day today, I can't make it so i change to tomorrow.

No, I didn't go to the parents' day today.  As I couldn't take a leave so easily, I asked my husband to go.

Yes, my kid is in Room 5 in Laguna Verde.  Is your kid also in Laguna Verde?

Actually, some of the kids wear sports shoes with colours other than white.  I guess you can let your kid wear the shoes you bought, until the class teacher asks you to change.

My son is a classmate of doris too, that is same as your son. The teachers are nice and there are ~7-8 Japanese, one indian and one western. It's good that your son starts in the middle of the year, coz the teachers can pay more attention to one new student, coz my son started in Feb last year.

How's your kid in school today?  I am sure Miss Hung, the class teacher would have taken good care of your kid.

What did Miss Hung and Miss Angelika said about Preston's performance?  They told my husband that Brian improved a lot in two months.  However, he still can't control his temper well and he is reluctant to play with the other kids.
Brian just started speaking in June but he can now speak over 100 vocabularies and can combine verbs and nouns.  He has learnt a lot in school.
