咁又唔係一定架既,人小小可以簡單啲,唔使太多活動,放假可以做自己既野.我仔而家學校人唔多,大家相處開心,幾個年級既人都會一齊打波,踩單車出twon買野食,
學校活動宿生自由參與,動靜都有,同老師關係又會close啲,如果間學校係好,食物好,人少都唔錯架.

入Oxbridge 普通學校都可以丫，我以為全部都係想入醫添，哈哈長知識

It was the good old days before Covid-19. Exactly when Yasmin and Jonathan came to Hong Kong for a few days workshop in Wanchai Wah Yan College.

Thanks to Mr Anthony of Brxxxxxx, he let my son join the workshop and take all entrance exams well beyond the deadlines.

Thanks to Mr Jonathan B., who well-built my son's confidence during the workshop by giving him very positive comments, especially after his first trial of writing an oxbridge entrance exam paper. (Jonathan has been a great support, all the way to UCAS, U.S. college application and beyond)

Then, he was offered a very generous scholarship.
After a brief discussion with us and his friends, he made his own decision to drop other schools.

OIC 可以行去 Oxford city’s gym, library ...
我覺得 OIC 的一大優勢是 ——  可以行去 Oxford uni 上 open Lecture and master class，年中有好多講座丶活動  ⋯  好學的孩子都喜歡。

係 int’l Sixth Form，都很感謝學校。相對於傳統中學，係較多支援 for preparation and uni applications。所以小兒權衡輕重之下，揀咗 Sixth Form，放棄咗另一間可以悠閒泛舟嘅秀麗校園。我至今都有點兒淒淒然，但佢話「後悔」不在他的字典中喎 !

六丶七月開始，學校一直有幫佢哋做 mock interview n discussion workshop。老師又常提點佢哋要多睇課外科硏書刋 to help think out of the box。咁係自己有興趣嘅課題，佢閒時都有睇 (但唔夠)。夠唔夠用就未知，希望佢 interview 時有好運啦。

and somewhere else i wrote:  
There're lucky guys like my boy who got an excellent Math teacher, plus Physics, Chem teachers who gave him way too much freedom and guidance to nurture his interest beyond syllabus     
... teachers and students there are super helpful. Just be proactive to ask for help, and if she's behind, teachers will take her to after-class sessions anyway ...

儘管場地相對少，喜歡運動的孩子們都有很多選擇：   
say goto Oxford city’s gym for sports and badminton, go for soccer, running, cycling, climbing, hiking etc.  我仔係做依啲，He won't join the medical group activities, humanities stuff except Philosophy, fine art, performance, band... but 佢閒時仲有 setup and organised a charity ; was casually playing chess, piano, boardgames, of course 瘋狂打機 , 應該仲有好多其他活動嘅，不過我唔記得喇。Oh yes, he went for some good trips like CERN and Alps

呢兩年仲多咗同 MiT , Juilliard 合作的 programmes, 但在我仔畢業後才開始有，所以我哋唔太清楚。

Rugby係非常好嘅學校，我冇揀純粹係因為我選擇送小朋友去齋校。如果我揀男女校，一定揀Ru ...

點解揀齋校呢？女校理科尤其數學會唔會弱D？

揀齋校原因有幾樣。

第一，英國寄宿學校幾百年歷史，從前只有男子接受教育，係到十九世紀中期先有齋女校，而男女校更係二十世紀後期先出現。所以最原汁原味嘅寄宿體驗，一定係咁多年嚟都係齋男校嘅學校，亦所以我幫我仔揀齋男校。不過現今仲係全男全寄宿嘅學校得返五間（就嚟得番四間），買少見少。

第二，異性某程度上係distraction，尤其係一星期七日，廿四小時都困喺學校。所以我幫啲女都係揀齋校。當年我讀母校嘅時候（講緊三十幾年前），學校啱啱開始收sixth form女仔，我都見唔少同學本來成績唔錯受到影響。亦有同學因為發生關係「被」退學。

女校不單只唔會理科（或者）數學弱啲，反而因為齋校唔使同男仔比分數仲有利女仔數理發揮。

當然係我個人睇法，各位家長自己衡量。
