I assumed you have already learned from the parents' meeting that the school session will last around 3 hours for the first 3 school days. The time table will be distribute to students probably in the 2nd school day for P.1. However, for the school calender, you may find the information in the school website from September onwards.

Hi, Tonks,

The parents' meeting will be on 8/25.  Right now, we only know that From 9/1 - 7, there will be early dismissal at 10:00 am and the rest of September will in Summer Schedule which be end at 1:15 pm.   Details of extra-curricular Activities will be given to us in late September.

Would like to ask you :

1. In Summer Schedule, do the kids have lunch in school or they need to go home for lunch?

2. Extra-curricular will be in weekday after school or on Saturday?  Is there any school bus arrangement for pick up?

Dear AmyWonglo,

1. Students do not require to take lunch at school during summer schedule. However, stduents will have a longer recess time after 4 lessons in the morning, so you better prepare some more food (e.g. sandwiches, snacks) for your daughter as there will be 4 lessons to go after the recess.

2.There are more than 50 types of ECAs available at school and most of them held on Friday after school. However, some ECAs would provide Saturday sessions (such as: Ballet, string and woodwind class), so it all depends on what kind of ECAs you are going to join.

3. No school bus arrangement is available after the ECA, parents need to pick up their children themselves.

Hi, Tonks / IT04,

Thank you very much for your prompt reply.  You are always so helpful in our questions.

I just printed out the school calendar from the website and noted that the ECA is on the Friday.  Luckly, I only arranged her painting class for September.  I will need to reschedule it for another weekday from October onward.
