今年唔同呀，wks 8班比上年多4x人。如果RC reject , random number 又好後，真係唔樂觀

其實今年還咁多新校，大家都想收英文水平的學生，只要試下apply其他學校，都不難有offer, 我識不少ESF kinder 的都已有FIS, NAIS,CAIS等offer, 只是等埋ESF再作決定，當然留位費都幾甘，很多都要短時間內交。

我都識好幾個有其他學校的offer 以作back up, 留位費最少兩萬幾。不過最後esf or Rc 收，都係會入返esf or RC, 果兩萬幾for 賣個安心

Esf kindie total student c. 1500/2. = 750 per grade .

If parents willing to move there should be more than enuf  seats?

Im not insider just est based on rough figures. Do correct me if im wrong or something i have missed..

It seems more and more parents prefer rc to esf now and so more spots of Esf will be available later

好多住馬鞍山的都寧願揀rc，因為sjs校巴唔會逐個屋苑drop off學生，而係一lot過喺烏溪沙站落車，學童自行再搭車返屋企。如果參加課外活動更要下下上山接放學再轉九輪車返屋企，除非父母楂車或有私人司機。

Then really cant figure out why some said they couldnt promote to esf primary..becoz parents generally not willing to move or some wrong planning?

say, for those living in mos, i guess very few are willing to move to hki and it will be a big headache if they don't live in the catchment zone as no school bus for out of catchment zone areas, it's easier if it's bhs and kjs but these 2 schools area already over subscribed

Would those on waiting list of the schools inside the zone be offered a second chance outside the zone , say on the condition that they can move?

yes if they pass the assessment but in the end no spot is available at the school of their zone, esf will offer them a spot at a school of another zone, they don't really have to move, but they have to arrange their own transport

I guess offer from foundation school is really a waiting game like someone mentioned earlier, because ESF may give you a spot out of zone. But for RC, you won’t be offered anything else.

有可能小朋友落校車後再搭車去mos上興趣班，也有可能馬鞍山校車線full了，都有可能啊

Thanks luckyveronique! 頭先問咗個SJS 家長，佢話PTA校車full咗的話，其他external school buses未必個個屋苑都經，所以有啲學童要喺大站落車再自行回家。

其實舊年reserve list 有幾多人，最後又派位派到幾號

今年reserve list有好多人，因為sjs in 晒所有有priority嘅人，保守估計有80人。
