My younger kid is studying in another "well known" kindergarten with NET teaching everyday .  The work load is a bit more n the syllabus is more difficult than St Cat but I personally  St Cat as we are lazy parents n we do not aim at 神級小學. But that school is also a good school with even higher academic standard  but comparing with St Cat it's seem life in St Cat is a bit happier

現在好多假net的（金髮碧眼就稍微可靠d），其他膚色好多都係本身有母語，只不過英文好就當係net（口音吓死人）。甚至有d亞洲人，只不過係外國住過幾年，讀過下書，講野扮到捲舌d，就扮係net。只可以話市場需求太大。
幼稚園有都唔出奇，英基都有喇。
所以有d家長唔好“被害妄想症”上身，認為有人提出學校不足之處就話人地係打手，係唱衰學校。客觀講句，st.cat又唔係咩好難入的學校。cckg，寶山都無人請打手喇
唔通只可以贊，見到問題就視而不見？

Happy for you that both of your kids got in a gd school. You must be very pound of them... The teacher at st cat said there will be homeworks everyday starting from Oct. Do u still remember how much time your elder kid usually spend on? I'm a lazy parent too, can't constantly urge them on to study hard... Thx for sharing

會不是是個中文老師在有需要時說英文?

我大仔是SC 英普的畢業生, 現陳守仁(直資英小)P2,  佢個時冇PN, K1-K3 3年在SC, 覺得老師未必個個好關心學生個樣但語言的質素幾好, K2/K3的中文老師都嚴格同要求高的.  

作為家長, 去好多活動, 見中文老師上下堂及同家長對答都全部國語, 但有家長如果是native外國人不懂PTH, 可能中文老師會搭句英文, 佢地的英文就不可能全部好出色, 但英文老師的英文就不會, 全部很地道, 以英美音為多. .

我識不少SC畢業的小學生初小開始都選擇去補中文, 尤其是入中文小學的好多有此需要. 其實SC中文程度比起其它幼稚園不是差,  只不過大部份小朋友的英文比中文出色, 好似我個仔K3時程度可以類同普通官津小學的P3,   剛過去的P1暑假, 他可以做對大部份坊間P5的英文作業, 唯一是文法需要再加強.   

但相對中文佢K3之前好少看中文書, P1入學時中文的寫字作句較弱, 經過一年, 冇補習, 平時同暑假時由我地自己教, 亦可做番到坊間P2-P3的中文,依家要多睇書加強.

其實都唔知邊個老師，如果有姓名或班别都可以有其他家長可以comment 下，如今捕風捉影，對SC老師們不公平。

我也是SC家長，只能說這老師不是教我的兒子吧。

My elder kid graduated already so my info  sy not be most updated. I met the class teacher of my kid in st cat few wks ago, she told us that the school change the syllabus a bit n now with a bit more difficult  homework than before eg K3 second sem homework in the past has to be done in first sem now.  I remember , may be I m wrong , in K1 homework was very simple n easy n my kid can finish it in 15-20 mins everyday.  However many of my kid's classmates attend extra tutorial class like Enopi Kumon etc . We never did that n we were happy with the school curriculum. In K1

N progress seems to be slow in K1 but by the end of K3 she read Oxford reading tree stage 5 n I m happy with the progress yet ii know many smarter kids read stage 6 or 7 in k3 . we speak Cantonese at home n we did revision with my kid occasionally, may be twice a wk , 20 mins each time when my kid was in K2 n k3.  Workload in k3 is much higher than k2 as school tried to prepare them for primary school . U may feel more pressure in k3. Afterall i m happy that st cat gave good enough academic training to my kid n also a very happy school life .
Besides , There are always  not so good teachers even in the best school .

師奶乙無從得知事情來由和真相, 甚至嗰個係咪真係佢個仔, 天曉得!!
這翻討論沒有對師奶乙管教兒子帶來正面訊息; 對她兒子"疑似"不正當的行為毫無幫助...

我小朋友upper class, 由prenursery開始都係net teacher, 我暫未見過唔係net做st cat既英文老師
