Thanks for your reply and nice to meet you in BK. Your advise is very中肯 and give me many guides.
Why not change teacher now? As you know I live so far and difficult to find a teacher who willing to come. Now our existing teacher is living near with us. My daughter just cross a path then reach teacher home to learn. It is very convenience. My target is just my daughter could pass this year end Grade 1 exam and next year end could attend Grade 3 exam. If the teacher could meet this requirement, I will continue to let her teach.
And about the price, I think I could bargain with her.
I have a question : For a kid who has been learning piano (one on one) for one year, around Level 1, how long should be the practicing time everyday ?
Now I do have my son to practice piano everyday, but he just 'agree' to play the newly taught songs (of that week) twice, usually, there will be 3-4 songs every week. It will take him just around 15 minutes to finish.
I know many moms ask their kids to practice according to duration, e.g. 1/2 hour or 1 hour. Is my current practice ok ?
Thank you very much for your input.
In fact I'm already using those 'tricks' now but unfortunately I usually don't have the time to practice w/ him, except occasionally during weekends (if we stay home). He is now just practising on his own.
