I think they arranged the 1st interviews by groups - related applicants interviewed first, and the unrelated much later.  Accordingly, I would think that the phone calls yesterday for the earlier-day 1st int's must be for related.

Actually in first round they interviewed the Group 1 (related and same religion) and Group 3 (unrelated but same religion) first.  I had the same impression as you and that's why when I found out my kid was having interview on 27/9 which was the 3rd day of first round I was very surprised as we are not related.

佢哋响 2nd in 之後寫答謝信，知道只係 waiting list 後沒有放棄，開始寫叩門信，繼續俾小朋友進修，參加一D認受性高嘅比賽或考試，以成績 + 誠意 + 心思( 小朋友作品)去充實叩門信嘅內容，叩門信唔只寫一封，而係定時更新，依家聽佢哋講返出嚟，都真係服咗佢哋嘅毅力同决心！
驟耳聽以為佢哋係虎爸虎媽，但主導成件事嘅其實係佢哋嘅小朋友，呢個人仔好鍾意Co-ed，成日問父母點先可以入倒呢間學校，於是佢父母先的起心肝去"做好呢份工"，而事後聽佢哋講响等消息嗰幾個月，小朋友有好大進步，可算意外收穫，但更完美是有一個 Happy ending 啦!

2nd interview is related to first interview duration, longer time higher chance for 2nd interview?  anyone can share, ESP for those who had got 2nd interview.  Thank a lot.

根據非正式經驗累積推測，1st interview 長短應同 2nd in 得唔得冇乜直接關係。而經過 1st in 後基本上"大局已定"，2nd in 的作用是讓校長睇睇有無特別"騎呢"又或甚至令人厭惡嘅家長，所以那20至30分鐘嘅對談好籠统，冇乜特別，而小朋友就只係坐响度睇書，藉此考吓佢嘅專注力同定唔定性。
一般2nd in 時間的20-30分鐘，由於interview 一個接一個，校長都要控制時間，好少會出現偏長情況，而亦有人 2nd in 唔夠20分鐘，以為唔得結果OK ，所以時間長短應該唔係决定性因素。
不過要補充今年換咗校長，遊戲規則有冇變就唔知嘞。

Thanks.  But the interview duration is so vary, so said 45 mins, 1 hr, 1 and half hours, 2 hours and even 2 and half hours.  Anyone successful parents can share with your past experience about this.  We are so worry as the interview duration of my daughter is only one hour.  

Is it higher chance for a child (unrelated group) who met with the Principal in 1st interview?  But my daughter said that she could not see the Principal in the room at her interview date.  Is it meant 'No Hope'?  Some said that the Principal only interviewed with related group, is it true?

Hm, we're group 4, interviewed by the principle directly and the whole process takes around 1.5hrs.... Not sure about the 2nd in. chances?!
But my girl said some of the others are interviewed by teachers wor.....

We are Group 3, interviewed on Sept 27 by a teacher.  My daughter said when she was inside there were 4 rooms for one-on-one, and one of the rooms was the principal.

anyone or friends receive call today? I am surprised that if SPCCPS started calling, no one receive further calls.

My girl told the same thing (4 rooms for 1:1 after game playing and Teacher's questioning). She said, before she went inside this 1:1 rooms, the teacher told her "You are going to meet with the principal." ... that's why when she was out, she told me she met with the principal (as Teacher pre-alerted her inside is the Principal).但由於她見到有四間房, 所以話有四個校長.  <<所以係咪真係見到校長好難講 .. 不過佢係都話老師話佢要見校長>>

至於 random選了她入校長room定表現好被選中見校長就唔知喇. 我個女由入到出1小時45分鐘. We are group 4, 14/10先in, 有排都未到我.

同你個女一樣, 有4間房, 老師話要見校長, 帶佢入了其中一間見咗一個女人,係咪真正的校長就不得而知.  

時間長短應該和是否入選應該無關, 亞仔係co-ed花了1小時45分鐘, 但亞仔唔係優才生, 佢次次interview都好耐, 估計係佢唔識或做得慢, 所以花的時間總比別人長.

你們的小朋友好叻. 我問阿仔, 佢都一頭霧水, 唔知見左邊個, 淨係話間房好臭. (可能是香水或空氣清新劑, 佢好怕這些味道.)
