I agree with your views.
Some parents pay great attention on "教育理念", and try to choose a kindergarten that match with their own theory. However, running a school is like running a business nowadays, even for those schools that are operated by NGOs, since every school want to look for as many students as they can.
Instead of taking reference to the school head's briefing (usually not very reliable), it may be more practical and effective to listen to comments from other parents, with kids studying in that school. Besides, the choice from parents may not be the best to the kid, even all sort of information has been taken into account.
For myself, I studied in a traditional English girl school from K1 to F.7, which my mom thought it was the best to me, some 30 years ago. However, I disliked the school, the school head in particular, while I had to study in that school for 15 years......
So, parents, don't worry, be happy! |
