How about the Chinese standard?  Do they have dictation on both Chinese and English in K2/K3?

此校基本上係小朋友都收,非常商業,有$就得,當年小女沒有去面試,後來學校致電沒面試都可給學位.

想請問YORK有否鼓勵/培養孩子閱讀習慣, 同時它們在日常課程中有沒有訓練孩子的自信心和presentation skills?   因為這些因素對小朋友的日後學習和升學都很重要.

老師會叫阿囝帶d野返去，例如相同小朋友一齊分享，咁算唔算presentation skills?

Thank you for your information and let me know more about York.
Quite a lot of bad mouth heard from York in the past and let me to hestitate to let my kid to apply York.
For the school fee, honestly, it is comparatively high but I can be accepted as I know this is a private school in Kowloon Tong. The fee should be a little bit higher.
One of my kid is studying in K3 in  other kindergarten in Kowloon Tong but unfortunately, they don't accept my little kid in K1 this year. So I would like to find the other school for my little kid.
As parent, I really concern the result when applying primary school. As I find, they all are K3 or primary student' mom. Can you give me some information related to the offer in  primary school because I cannot find such information place in the web of York.
Also may I know any native English Teacher in the class ? Do they teach phonics during 3 years ?

Indeed, York is a good school.  The teachers we encountered are all very good, experienced and care about our kids.  Although the NET teacher time is not much compared to some bilingal kindergarten. York has its own magic that the English standard of the kids are very high.  Pls bear in mind that in York or other famous kinders in KLN Tong, some students may have many P.1 offers and some have none.  It depends on the kid's performance during interview and also luck.  We also heard some bad mouth about York before we entered it.  However, I appreciate it more and more from K.1 to K.3.

york真係乜人都收, 我bb面試時勁扭計, 不停話要走, 只答左幾條問題就趕住走.  以為一定無位, 點之竟然收左.  

之前睇雜誌介紹york的面試題目點樣點樣, 這裡的家長又話interview問題頗深, 我睇時都會心微笑, 唔識答學校仍然有位俾你, 大家放心報吧, 只要你肯交留位費......我講的全是事實.

其實每間收生標準都唔同, 我個女in左好多間, in得都唔好, 唔肯講自己叫咩名, so far有有好多間都收佢, 所以interview又唔可以代表到0的咩.
反而我會睇下0的老師點問問題, 有間土x灣名校,我話我個女講英文多, 佢就問: "呢個係咩color呀" 我真係o哂咀, 用中英文問問題??呢間到收左我個女, 不過我一定唔會入!!太神奇了...

york幼稚園有幾多間?朋友同我講york有幾間, "約克英文小學暨幼稚園" / 約克中英文幼稚園", 而家收左女女o個間叫"約克英文小學暨幼稚園, York English Primary School & Kindergarten". 我致電學校查詢話係同一間,兩者無分別.係唔係架?

我今日打去學校問了這問題, 普通班 (即唔係國際班), 每日英文係25 mins only, 其餘兩個半鐘係廣東話 (香港人教).  此外, 一星期只有25分鐘普通話.
