What is your final decision? 方方 or 迦南? I wanna know if our daughter will be in the same class in 方方in coming Aug.

my son will start N1 in coming Dec coz he is small boy. Will you join the welcome class in next week? have you buy the white shoe for her? do you know where can i buy it?

Half day: $3200 x 12 months
Full day: $4800 x 12 months
My daughter will join Half day class. I paid around $1000 for 雜費 (half year) and they said no other fees needs to pay in half year. I will join the welcoming class next Fri. After that, I can provide more info.  How old is your daughter?

I am not sure. Should be ok to join the class when child is 2 years old. You can call them for details as my daughter is a big girl (born in Jan).

Dear all

Just browsed through this thread and would like to share my experience.

My girl attended N1 in Durham Road campus from Feb - July 08. She was a small B and I tried to look for a place very late (start the nursery hunt in Nov only) and during that time Funful was the only school that have vacany in the am session in Kowloon Tong. I think it was because the brand name of Funful is not so strong though it was quite famous many many years ago.

Personally, I think the teaching in nursery is somewhat very similar in each and every school. My girl was in Chin/ Eng class but I have an impression that the majority of teaching medium is in Cantonese (which was quite different from what the interviewer told me) and my girl also picked up some very chinglish pronunciation. Apart from this the syllaabus is fine for nursery with Math teaching numerals from 1 -20. Learn some Chinese words and A - Z. General knowledge was taught and teacher will share newspaper clippings with kids.

Snack was not so good as only biscuit was provided 4-day aweek. Not as diversify as other schools. Yes, school environment was not so good, kinda worn out but I think that was not so important for kids.

I tried my best here to give a more objective viewpoint here. But if you will change to another school for K1 - 3, than enroll to Funful doesn't make much harm. But if you opt to study there in their kindergarten, than give a second thought as their syllabus is far too easy and "hea". That will make the kid very difficult to apply for good primary or even catch up in P1.

My daugher will start the N1 class in Aug and can you advise more info. for the class size, ratio of teacher to students. How will Funful arrange the new students to join the class? Will they open a new class for new joining student?

I am more concern about the teaching skills rather than the school envioroment. I enrolled international class for her. Do you know how are the teachers in international class?

I would like to know that why do you think that the teaching medium is mostly in Chinese ?

When I ask for some question about the nursary in the school, they said only chinese is taught by Cantonese and others are in English .. so I woud like to know the details ~

Sorry for my late reply a I was out of town. My girl studied in Cantonese/English class not the international class so I have no clues on the int'l class. Only know that they have lots of Indian teachers.

The class size of my girl was 20. One class mistress who is the one in charge of all subjects except English which was taught by Indian. My girl was born in Dec and she joined the nursery in the 2nd term which ran from Dec to July. At that time there were 2 or 3 new students to join the class in Feb. For the eaching, don't expect too much. As mentioned, A - Z, 1 - 20 and singing of Chinese & Englich nursery ryhmes, doing artwork in class.....

I have the feeling that all syllabus are taught in Cantonese because my girl will mention "teacher" when she refers to things that were taught in English class. And the "teacher" was the Indian. For all other subjects she told me Miss Lau, ie. her class mistress.

留意咗幾日，終於見到有新post出。我囡囡讀緊international Star A.M., 想知有冇媽媽的子女同我囡囡同班呢？就算冇都唔緊要，好想交流下！

我囡囡返咗6日，so far幾好，老師打電話俾我都話佢ok。不過正式返三個鐘後老師冇再打嚟，所以我尋日放工後都打返俾老師問情況。你地係咪都係一樣呢？？

My son is ice-cream - am class.  Ms So called me every day last week but this week she did not call me again.  Maybe he is quite ok at the school.  Up to now, he enjoyed very much going to school.  The only problem is that the school bus time is  long - 45 minutes
