上星期畢業禮我家总動員 7人先去飲茶,然後往欣賞,  真係好開心.  專登唔番工添.  家人問我做乜眼濕濕, 將來佢小學, 中學, 大學咪仲緊要..   原來個個媽都係甘 ! 今個星期六要去謝師宴, 下個星期六要小一家長會又要取評估.  為咗個女都唔知請咗幾多假 !

是有, 但不是绝对正確.  
K3時由小學部外籍老師任教, 以興趣组形式星期六上堂, 需另付費用.  我侄仔小一跟我個女K3本 Phonic書一樣.

我個女學咗幾堂已掌握一般字First Letter 应為什麽 ?
我講单字, 佢估, 除了K 及 C比近, 大部份其他都中七七八八.

I will not attend the 謝師宴 since I will not in HK on 3/7.  No chance to chit chats with you.

It is very touching is last Wednesday's graduation ceremony, I don't think you are "眼淺", all the parents will treat their kid as a treasure.

As long as you think the school is suit for your daughter, it doesn't matter that whether it is St. Rose or not.  I believe there is a lot of school which is better than St. Rose.  Hope your daughter has a good starting in her P.1 school life.

For K1's application, please call the school directly to check the details, the telephone number is 2338-3138, I remember I have to go to the kindergarten to collect the application form for my daughter during the year of 2000 around Oct.

Right now is : St. Rose.  Unless I heard any new BAD comments from parents regarding St. Rose.

Hi, Msma,

I don't know if the school will do as you stated anymore.  For both of my 2 girls, I need to line up outside the school to get an application form.  You will need to bring along the Birth Cert to prove that your kid will be 2 years 8 months + for the coming September.  $30 will be charged for the application form.  The name of the Child will be written on the form so that it is not transferrable and date/time of interview is stated on the form as well.  I don't recall exactly when will they give the application form.  Just remember that it is normally on 2 Sat mornings.  I think last year is early Nov.  Please check with the school around Sept.

Thanks.  I had visited this website and read these 2 messages before.  Regarding the message of 灰姑娘, yes, it is worth to read.  I missed this message, if you don't tell me, I will not enter.  Thanks a lot.  I think in the future I should not only JUST tell stories but start to ask questions after each story.  However, just as the other parents said, we are not trainned to teach.  Do you have any good suggestion about parent course in this issue?

Before you said "只會話如果首選自己小學, 將來有優先面試機會, 而且有留位叩門. " Is it ture, do you know anybody can go to P1 st.rose by this channel this year?

It is very nice and happy to hear that the mamis' said the 畢業禮 was so touching and warm, some of you cry.  From this, I can feel that the school and teachers is very good and care to the girls.

I was told by the staff of St. Rost that there are two colour availalbe; pink and blue, you can take either one.  School's time table to be distributed in Sept, so I don't know how many times the student needs to dress the sport wear per week.

Morning DoReMiKa,

這是校長說的是不會錯. 留位字眼可能不正確, 但总之學校有彈性加位的,由3X人一班加至40人甚至41人, 這是所有學校都有之所謂皇帝位,  去年St Rose有十多個位. 這些位是優先給幼稚園部  "首選自己小學" 之學生面試,  比街外生jetso D.  今年唔知道結果, 去年十多個皇帝位中最少3個是St. Rose的,  ""最少"" 是因為校長有提及某幾個小朋友後來都入咗, 有可能是全部都是 St Rose都話唔定, 因校長沒有提及.
所以冇資料

That is my 1st time of heard about that the student can have choice on PE uniform !  My girl will definitely take the Pink one.

I think there will only be 2 continual PE lessons once every week.  Nevertheless, I'll wait till next Saturday to find out & buy the uniform the same day.

Honestly, I am also no knowledge on that, I learned from the below web site that you can attend the “香港書展2004 −「家庭共讀」分享會” which is free of charge to be held in July, if you are interested, you can access this web site to register.

(1) some centers which nearby my flat have similar courses regarding this topic, for example “how to read story books with your children”, but I never enroll the course.  

(2) Some stories books which published in Taiwan they have the "parents guide” to lead the parents how to read story book, in Chinese, they name it “導讀手冊”, it will guide you how to lead your children to think more from the story beside the content. A story book which mentioned in the message of  美國一所普通小學的一堂閱讀課--灰姑娘,"一百個冰淇淋"
is similar to this.  If you daughter has enrolled the web site from St. Rose's kindergarten, you will be able to find this story book can buy from that web site's on-line book shop.

If I find more, will let you know.

You are welcome, I also interested to know that's why I called to the school to check, because in the school's web site, it only mentioned that the sportwear is in blue colour only, but I was told by the staff of St. Rose that the school have two colours of sportwear for long time.

Regarding the PE lesson -
I heard Monday, Wednesday and Friday the girls has to wear school uniform
Tuesday and Thursday has to ware PE uniform
And it's good arrangement so that the uniform can enough time to try out.
But I don't know PE uniform has colour can be choose, it's nice to know.
