My sister recommended me to buy Thermos food jar.  The model has a folder spoon packed on top of the jar.  I saw it in Jusco, selling price is about $235.  She said it is very warm and her girl is using it.  Her maid cooks in the morning and puts the rice & food inside the jar.  She told me that when her girl opened it around noon.  Her classmate asked if that she brought back congee as there was steam came out from the jar.   

I am using something like this but not with famous brand name.  I checked when I helped last week during lunch.  I did not see any steam so I put my hand inside the jar (the food jar was half filled) and felt a bit warm inside the jar.  I am not sure about the food.  My girl said she like that temperature.  Therefore, if the same design but from Thermos, the fuction should be better.   May be you can also consider this model.

倒熱水呢招己經用過啦，但似乎亦無效。依家天氣未轉凍，我個飯壺仲可以支持住先，不過長遠都係要買嗰個啦。

唔駛客氣.  我都是在找一個合適的飯盒/壺.  也在做各種測試, 希望找到一個又保温, 又輕及大小適中的.  我以前用的那個Thermos胶殼玻璃內胆的飯壺就非常好.  可惜Thermos HK再冇得賣.  美國網看到的又唔知是否同一個類型 (當年的是英国型號.)  如向妳們試了這個Thermos Food Jar, 效果如何記得話我知喎.  

另, 我現在是搜尋強效保温袋.  有資料請告訴我呀!

不用担心.  一年級測驗時, 老師會讀題目的.  

我覺得小朋友應該是可以應付到的.  至於成績高下, 就睇做卷時是否夠細心了.

Hi,

Law Tailor asked me to pick up my girl's winter uniforms before they deliver them to school.  They mentioned there are quite a few items and they are quite heavy so it is better for us to pick up ourselves.  Do you know when the girls can change to their winter uniform?

Last year, they changed to winter uniform on Nov. 7.  This year, probably on Nov. 6.

I went to Law Tailor last week.  Suggest you to go with your kid so that she can try the uniform there.

To my girl, the size that they provided are not fit for her, the dress and pant are too big, the cardigan is too small.  I change the suitable size there at once.

Hi AmyWonglo,

Did you enroll your daughter on the C.U.E.A. English Adventure Course last year? 90 mins of learning per week for 4 months, is it worth spending the time?

I am still 15/16 - worry about adding extra work load to my girl which may not be of much value.

Any view/comment from other mums?

Dear June,
I am not planning to enroll her.  First, I don't like too much about e-learning.  They are already spending a lot of time in front of TV and computer everyday.  This is not very good for their eyes.  Second, I don't like too much for them to get a habit of using the computer at such a young age.  Third, I can't figure out how they can practice speaking skills thru internet.  I prefer something more direct conversation.
And what do you think about this?
