You are right. I have not calculated the number using the other 3 core subjects. From the statistics of the other 3 core subjects, it should be clear that the total number of candidates should be 151, with 3 NCS not taken DSE Chinese Language.   
However, this made the percentage of 33222 and 22222 interesting, as the number and percentage do not match.
Of course, I believe 149 as total candidate number given should be a typo, as it does not made sense as 149 reach 22222 and not reported as 100%.

Assuming 151 candidates, then
135/151=89.4%
149/151=98.7%
the percentage is not right.

By also assuming one of the NCS reach 33222(GCE Chinese included), therefore also reach 22222, then
136/151=90.06%
150/151=99.34%

Not sure if this is the case, but figure match.

Of course, even if this is the case, the figure presented is confusing.

Admitted to local universities 只佔 69.3%

3大是 69.3% 其中之 71.7% ＝ 69.3％ x 71.7％

另外， <   嘅解釋可能係UGC Degree <= JUPAS Degree

餅好簡單地講多少% 入本地學校， 當中有幾多學位%，副學士%，HD% 好似冇詳列喎

都係唔係好明，咁69.3%入local university，即係有31.7%去外國升學，咁點解要計埋去外國讀書的學生入去做分母？多學生去外國升學咪影響左3大率？用蘋果同梨去比較咪無意義？3大率咪無用！

UGC degree : 88% （142 人） ( 2017 : 78.1%)
副學士 : 8% （12人）
海外升學 : 3% （5人）
其他：1％ （2人）

校長補充:
入U 成績自 DSE 以來最好 （可能量化寬鬆+少了全港畢業生人數有關）
UGC degree 同 JUPAS degree 係 88% 同 87% 之分
部份成績不錯同學選了非3大嘅熱門科
