我老爺頭七回魂果晚, 我奶奶佢地話佢返過黎, 我都不信, 但又不到我不信.

This morning, we went to Yaumatai for the first checking. It was conducted by 陳博士 and lasting for around 3 hours in total.

Here is the report of my son's progress:
1) language: 2.5 years old.  3 months behind now. (4 months ago, it was around 14-16 months)
2) skills to play toys: 2.5 years old. 3 months behind.  (4 months ago, cognition was around 8 months lag behind, Dr. commented understanding and lauguage are much more lag behind again)
3) social skill: 2 year 3 months old: 5 months lag behind.
4) personal taking care ability: 2 year 3 months old: 5 months lag behind.

Dr. chan thinks he is very fine and making good progress comparing the report from 中九龍智能测試中心 four months ago.

Reg. autistic feature, he said according to what we described what he performed before July, he thinks he has some features. But now, these features are very mild. I asked him for the opinion why he thinks my son still have very mild features, he said they mainly lie in the following aspect: still not active enough to start the conversation yet.. and social skill lag behind.  If he goes to the primary school and has no problem to adapt to the normal school life.. then that is fine then. I personally think it is something concerning the personality of kids.

Regarding IQ, he thinks my son should be fine according to the cognition and progress made in such short time. But for small kids, they do not have such test.

I asked his opinion for my son's switching from SCCC to I seat, he recommend us to remain in SCCC seat till end of the term and surely he think my son can switch out to I seat then on coming Sept. He thinks in his age, intensive personal training is more important than group life. Anyway, that is our plan and we will bring him to more activities in spare time.

I feel my hard workings and tears shed and everything, everything rewarded... Let's work harder to catch up!!!

1. 計埋6個兼收位學生, 其實成班有成30幾人. N1-N4每級得1班.
2. 兼收位老師除左負責同兼收位學生做訓練, 寫家課冊外. 其實亦要好似普通老師一樣, 看管其他學生, 講故事等工作.
3. 每天好像有20分鐘同仔仔做訓練. 所教既就好似幼兒訓練一樣, 樣樣都會教下(自理/學術都有). 不過就我個人來講, 因為我仔仔不嬲返開幼兒訓練, 所以我好少追問學校的I位訓練教緊乜. 我只睇我仔仔情度去到邊, 自己就繼續教.

我仔仔依家讀緊N2=K1. 未要揀小學住, 我亦唔清楚幾時真係要報名. 我估起碼下年N3開學先啩? 不過一想起升小學問題, 個頭就開始痛. 到左要揀學校既時候, 我會問下學校老師同協康導師既意見.

有時都好擔心, 軒軒夠竟會不會'好返', 但又要自己比自己信心, 比軒軒信心, 唯有一路相信軒軒一定'好返', 亦依靠神的帶領.

每當失落/心情好down的時侯, 總要鼓勵自己努力去面對, 陪軒軒去行呢條好難行的路.

每當軒軒有一些小進步的時侯, 身邊的朋友/同事, 根本不明白的喜悅, 佢地雖然都知道軒軒的情況, 但係未能領會到軒軒的進步對我黎講係幾甘喜悅. 只好係bk分享我的喜悅, 只有呢度的媽咪先明白我果種喜悅.

各位好!好耐無上過黎啦....有樣野想請教大家!

之前同大家講過囝囝(22個月大)11月去健康院檢查過,當時健康院醫生同我朋友個家姐(專治理自閉症既醫生)一齊睇我囝囝,結果話我囝囝仲細,唔能夠定案佢有無自閉傾向,因為當日佢不在狀態,樣樣結果都好marginal,即使有都係好輕微,叫我3個月後再去覆診。

咁前幾日囝囝感冒,我帶佢睇家庭醫生,醫生見完囝囝,覺得佢唔多講野,少眼神接觸,又好活躍,話我囝囝可能有問題,寫左封轉介信俾我,叫我帶囝囝去做評估,因為醫生當時趕住走,我問唔到詳情,我想問大家:
1) 我應該帶呢封信去邊呢?健康院定係評估中心呢?咁邊度有評估中心呢?
2) 通常要排幾耐呢?
3) 私家醫生定係健康院轉介去做評估排得快d呢?
4) 咁我好唔好等埋2月去健康院覆診完先決定拎唔拎呢封私家醫生信去排期呢?定係有埋無理排住先呢?

因為從來未經歷過,都唔知應該點做,麻煩各位指教。thanks.

Just to chip in my 2 cents.  I think singing songs and speaking complete sentences are 2 different things.  For songs, one gets to remember the lines and there are rhymes and possibly gestures to follow. Kids learn the songs through repetitions and practices by observing VCDs/teachers/fellow classmates.  In contrast, to speak complete sentences, one cannot simply recall from the memory the lines. One has to fit the sentences with the context and create his own sentence structure, using his own words.  It is much more difficult than repeating the songs learned previously, particularly new sentences in new context.

Therefore it is entirely understandable that your girl sings the whole song word by word but not so often in speaking complete sentences.  Sentences are not as fun as songs anyway, giving her even less incentive.

Really great to hear the good news from you.  Your son's progress is very impressive.  We do need examples like yours to keep us going.

1) 我應該帶呢封信去邊呢?健康院定係評估中心呢?咁邊度有評估中心呢? 評估中心, as to where, it depends on where you live, you can check with your nearest 健康院 or the Health Dept. website for the addresses of 評估中心

2) 通常要排幾耐呢? Again it depends on the district you live in.  In our case, we waited for several weeks to see the nurse for initial assessment, 2-3 months to see the doctors and other specialists for the formal assessment, and another 6 months for training.

3) 私家醫生定係健康院轉介去做評估排得快d呢? Not sure. I think it doesn't matter.

4) 咁我好唔好等埋2月去健康院覆診完先決定拎唔拎呢封私家醫生信去排期呢?定係有埋無理排住先呢? Of course 有埋無理排住先, at least you save 2 months' waiting time.

你如果唔知你o個區邊樹有評估中心,唔緊要,你可以打去中九龍評估中心,佢地同時都係統籌中心,電:22466633.
你打去同姑娘講話你有醫生寫了一封轉介信,話叫你帶仔仔去做評估,但你唔知邊樹有評估中心,姑娘就會問你住邊區,同俾該區評估中心的電話給你.
你打去該中心後,該中心姑娘多數會即刻幫你約一個時間上去見評估中心的姑娘(我上次約在3日後),並且會提你要帶的文件.
一般見完姑娘後,姑娘會再幫你排期見兒科醫生做評估,不過一般要等四至六個月,就算快期都可能要2個月,睇吓你好唔好彩,同緊唔緊急.
私家醫生同健康院轉介去做評估係一樣排得咁.......快!無分別~~

其實到時再去覆診,如果醫生真係認為囝囝係有自閉傾向,佢地係唔係都會叫我去容鳳書排期做評估呢?定係有其他步驟呢?

軒軒做完評估之後, 自動自覺幫我搵埋醫務社工, 因為要排早期訓練, 你好似係在協康都做評估, 定係容鳳書? 如果係協康, 佢地不會幫你搵醫務社工, 如果係容鳳書應該會有卦, no sure.

有理無理排左先, 排得你都2歲幾, 如果touch wood真係有問題的話, 再排早期訓練又半年(最快), 到時都2歲半-3歲, 時間好緊要.

尋晚+今朝心情有d down.

尋晚食飯, 奶奶投訴, 阿女將佢包藥掉左落街, 奶奶搵藥搵不到, 先發覺係對下一層的簷逢上. 問阿女, 默認, 還講大話不小心掉左, 不係有意. 我覺得佢係有意的, 鬧亦鬧左, 解又解釋左.

到今朝, 等校車, 同佢d同學媽咪傾計, 先知-
1. 阿女學校有貼紙獎勵計劃, 阿女成日同我講, '媽咪, 今日我又多一個貼紙啦', 或'媽咪, 今日我拿到秩序獎', 我比佢的反應係'哦', 早幾日, 佢還同我講, 佢已經拿到綠色獎牌, 差小小就拿到紫色獎牌.

我一直以為呢d貼紙/獎牌好易拿.

2. 運動日, 拿到2面金牌.  我又以為, 所以有份參與的同學都會有獎牌拿.

點知, 今日先知, 原來佢拿到18個獎勵貼紙同兩面金牌真係好叻女, 真係有同學仔係無既, 或者好小貼紙.

係不係我一直忽略左佢, 令到佢做d掉野落街的野出黎引我注意? 我點先可以分配到d 時間?

對阿女同軒軒都好內疚, 一個無時間照顧佢, 一個懷疑係我陀住佢的時侯, 休息不夠, 作小產, 累到佢腦部發展得慢.
