我身邊都有朋友開始忍唔住去報面試班lu, 我仲忍得住; 因為我覺得面試班都係訓練對答能力, 表達能力, 呢類野, 其實去d多d機會俾小朋友講野既班就得, 又唔一定要係面試班law~

睇下我幾個月後係咪咁講啦~

現實真係殘酷, 你講的野, 其實在踏入2010年時, 我已經諗倒. 因為再過多幾個月, 就開始小一"戰"了! 我都未認真開始諗. 亦冇諗過報面試班, 我暫時都仲可以堅持唔讀都得,因為我傾向覺得冇乜用. 不過, 唔知再過多一排會點...  我好鴕鳥架, 如果我老公唔話報, 我就當唔知件事囉.

Hi siusiusiu,
My daughter got into govt subsidized school for the 1st round POA, therefore, there is no need for her to do the private schools/DSS interviews seriously. However, I still put her in the interview course for 8 weeks after the POA results were out just to see if the interview course could help her with interpersonal skills, etc. After the 8 weeks course, I found out that what the materials that the interview course taught were learnt at KV already. Mostly about logic, matching, play puzzle and maze game, spot the difference, show&tell, etc.
And after 8 weeks, I didn't find my daughter became talkative and expressive. Therefore, I think this kind of interview course doesn't have much magic on certain kind of children.

我主要怕面試班會適得其反, 攪到小朋友對應好"格式化", 攪到我果個唔太突出既女更無"獨特性"; 希望佢平時參加咁多playgroup, 都可以學到待人接物啦~

忍忍忍, 但仍會向有參加的朋友八卦成效~
有朋友上左一堂已經話覺得唔錯, 感覺"有料到", 會繼續向她請教~

i think, if the kid is shy and introvert, may be interview course can help to train him / her to be more expressive? If the kid is expressive and talkative, probably not that necessary.

Having said that, taking Exam like Trinity / LCM...etc can help. i don't mean the Cert helps, but it is the learning process.

Good morning parents.
Is it today the English assessment? My son didn't really want to study too hard over the weekend, and I spent most of time studying with my daughter instead. I am afraid that he will be daydreaming when doing the big paper.

I just called home and told my son to write one to five and also revise the A to Z...
I am too busy with my daughter weekly dictations and revisions that I sort of disregard the revision of my son. On Sat and Sun, he just sat next to us at the same table and wrote the vocab on his own. I am sorry but... he has to be on his own to study... because his sister is ... not as smart... =="

Hi fatbabyfat,
Yes, quite a coincidence... actually my daughter has quiz and test on the last week of Jan. She usually has test and quiz one week after Alex has done with the KV assessment. She needs more time to study and revise. The primary school materials are actually quite difficult nowadays.
By the way, how come it's so quiet here today lei?

我地禮拜六＆日都冇去街, 在家溫習, 其實本來尋晚想去街架, 不過, 我良心過意唔去, 其實係,在家都唔係話勁溫, 但點都好過去左街, 會好內疚嘛!呵呵!

我已經應承左晉晉, 來緊weekend會帶佢去街開心下...

My husband found that Owen forgot to do his homework in last weekend. So, he did his homework this morning and took this chance to review one to five and A to Z. Haha!

Taking care of 2 kids is really very busy. I can feel now.....

我尋日重同肥妹去生日 party, 玩到2點幾先返屋企, 重要比 jumbo_mandy 見識到肥妹 d失禮野, 就係死食死食, 連玩都唔玩, 佢差不多由頭食到尾, 真係食完晒先肯去玩, 同埋最肯主動的時間, 就係自己出去攞生日蛋糕食呀, 你話佢幾失禮

去玩輕鬆下都好丫. 如果晉晉肯坐定定咁食, 我都不知幾安落, 可惜, 佢pat pat係尖的, 通常坐一陣, 都唔知有冇食過D乜, 已經哎要落地呢! 所以肥妹肯食, 又坐定定都好好啊!
