eggegg 頭2个 terms d homeworks 有 B-- & C-.  Term 3 忽然 開竅 (eggegg 同最大嗰个爭14months ga ), 自動投入, 以不用擦膠完成 homework為目標, 有 A & A- homeworks.  雖然唔計分, 但我己老懷安慰

GS--我已經買齊；
ENG--只買到Magic(Student's Resource Book 2A); Magic(Task Book 2A); Magic(Listening 2A), Storyland Phonics 1&2) & The Red Kite(OSR Enhanced Ed.).

咁多書都無，係米需要keep住打比偉發問？

我問因為我自已出面買 (cos 有d書我有 2d hand). 如果你有 eng and GS = 我何以出追 order = 開学前有書.

應該唔洗 call Wai fat.  舊生 summer holiday 前 via school 比左 $但未有貨嗰 d, e.g. GS, Eng 3A, 開学 via school 派.  未比$ (book list 上寫'開学后先買, 無价錢' 嗰 d, e.g., 2B, 3B 會開学后, 有通告交$ via school 派.  wai fat says Christmas 先有).

I arrived GHS at 9:00am (wanted to get up on 6:30am but failed and got up on 8:00am and rushed to GHS by taxi)

When I arrived the P1B classroom, there was no student there, just a teacher there to do the registration for me.  I spent only 5 mins. and completed it.  I knew from the young (in her 20s) teacher that she will be the teacher in charge of 1B and there will be 45 students in the class.  That means the whole P1 (5 classes) will be full (45x5=225).  The young teacher was quite polite and nice.  I felt a bit at ease now.

Then, I went to buy the school uniform, PE gear, books, school bus ticket etc.  All was done nice and quick.  I saw many sets of 書套 and bought them at well.  I finished everything at about 9:30am.

I left the school and met some nursery bus drivers at the school gate.  A driver offered me first month free (because I had bought the first month school bus ticket).  I was tempted and had to think about it.

I spent over $7,000 in this morning but all in all quite satisfied with the service from the school.

据我所知，學位應該末滿，因我有同事今日收到通知，明天先註冊，所以應該有部份人唔讀。

我諗我唔會買大牌子書包比個女，eg. SPI, 因為太好用、太耐用啦，同一個書包用幾年喎，亞女唔厭我都厭，用兩年再換的話，到時個書包又無爛，完整無缺，都唔知掉好定唔掉好 所以我會比佢自己選一個公仔靚靚書包就算，等佢開開心心上學去嘛

你地有冇在school買白sport shoes呀？唔知係唔係淨係我個對,波鞋個塊(李).亞女返來穿了行左幾步.波鞋個塊(李)已經d表面的白皮已脫落,明天打去問下有冇得換.

My daugher is 1B student also.  It is nice to find a parent with the same class.  

Do u mean 1B class teacher is the young lady who did the regististraion this morning.  She is so nice and kind.

大家今日有冇買頂帽比囡囡呀, 我個friend話去旅行只可帶這款帽, 所以買了一頂比佢, 費事佢見人有得帶佢冇啦, 不過佢通常帶幾分鐘就除ga la.

Hi wingwahmon,

It is nice to know another 1B parent.  The nice young lady who did the registration told me that she will in charge of 1B.

She was polite and nice but I am a bit worry that she may not have adequate experience in teaching as she looks like just graduated.

I looked through all the text books and work books that I bought on registration day.  They were not very difficult as expected.  My daughter actually had learned most of the material to be taught in the 1st term.  So, my daughter will likely to have a honeymoon 1st term in P1.

It seems that GHS is still taking in new students now.  That means GHS's places are not so in demand???

not surprising that the process of taking in the waiting list is continuing, because:

1.  some parents reserve seats in several schools to buy time for consideration, reconsideration, etc.
2.  the knock-door process is concurrently in progress, which means some will quit at a later stage even after paying so much money
3.  some kids have got DDS and free schools places in the first round, i.e., before last Christmas, and are not entitled to join the lucky draw (These kids do not  have the registration cards which you collected from the distriubution centers on June 4).  The loophole here is that EMB only informs private schools the names of those who have joined the lucky draw, but not those who have been assigned a seat in the first round.  This inevitably generates a miscalculation/underestimation problem when GH plans on how many waiting-list candidates should be called up after mid-june until yesterday.

whether it is not so in demand depends on how you view>>>Last year began with 210+ kids which some senior say it is a drop (max. is 225); a waiting-list parent says she had done a lot to get her girl into GH, probably she ranked very low on the waiting list; as school year went on, some quitted and some joined in in the middle of the term; it seems that more and more parents are willing to pay and study here.
