(once a week) As they are still young, so the teacher asked us to accompany him.  I let my eldest daughter to do so since she knows musical scales more than I do.  However, it seems that she is more interested in playing the instrument than my son does.  She can play a song after 3 lessons!! But my son!   he is still struggling on how to put the violin on his shoulder!!

Tue is the day for picnic. I want to confirm the time. ---9am arrive to school and 2pm leave school. Then how about the school bus timing. Has any school bus provid at that day? ( same as everyday)  I had go to the park secreatly and take a view for his picnic in the last year. But this year ' I have no time to do so and also afraid the teacher will discover me. Are you will go to have a look ?

Violin?  I think piano will be the easiest for kids.

My son is in fact joining Tom Lee's music classes.  He has started when he's 3-year old.  

Though he's not like some other kids, very willing to practise everyday, he shows big improvements in this half-year because we changed centre and his existing teacher is a very very good one and knows how to encourage kids.

Now my son knows playing some simple songs by using both hands.  The course also teach scales, listening and singing music notes, etc.  In my point of view, it's perhaps more suitable for young kids, especially boys with no patience.  

When my son complete this course next year (when he's 6-year old), we will turn to private lessons.

Going to the park secretly ?        I never think about this though my office is adjacent to HK Park.  I won't do so lah coz I don't know their exact itinerary bor.  And like what you said, if the teachers saw me, it would be embarrasing bor.

My son's school bus helper told me this morning that the time of school bus is same as everyday EXCEPT after school, the time will be 2 hours later than normal (12:00 noon - 2:00 p.m.)  so you (or your maid) just needed to wait at the picking up points 2 hours later than normal time.

Going to the part secretly???   

My grandfather did that once when I was in primary one!  He followed our route, and I was so suprised to see him everywhere I went!  It was fun, however, it might not be that fun to the teachers if they see us! Sooooooo, I thought about it but decided not to go!

I plan to let my boy learn piano later as well.  But learning violin is what he asked for.  As I said before, he loves 周麗淇 in 天幕下的戀人.  So he is the one who urge me to bring him for the course!  The instructor there already told me that violin is more difficult than piano.  Anyway, no harm to try!

For the school bus, I received a note from the driver, stating the departure and arrival time.  Morning:  same as usual;  Afternoon:  2.15pm;  I think better ask the driver or that "Yee Yee"!

Oh... yes yes I forgot you mentioned before that your son wanted to learn violin is because he loves 周麗淇        Your son is so mature that he starts to love movie star !!

Thank you all your ans for the school bus. I will call my maid to take care my son. In fact , I just want but I will not go to the park secreatly . I think this is a  precious film to record. I still remember that he hold the girl classmate walk around the park in last year. At the begining, I think the school will have a picnic for us with family but may be difficult to control for teacher. Otherwise, I hope they have a nice day tomorrow.  
Leung I:
       As I know violin is difficult for too young kid. It is because play the violin , guiltar ....need the finger touch the line in right position & power and technique. . The finger can not be too curved Otherwise, the kid play piano just only press the right key . It is not much technique in the first stage.
So , I choice my son to learn the piano at first even I don't  like the playing piano. I just want him to have the ' successful feeling'

Violin is not easy for a 4-5 years kid bor. Unless he shows great interest, otherwise I think piano is much more easy to start with.

My daughter has been learning violin for 2.5 years, she always said she has no interest, I don't push her to practise, just request her to play it occasionally. I can feel she enjoys to play some songs, I don't expect she has great achievement in it.

Is your son attending '1- to - 1' private lessons?

My son joined Tom Lee when he's 3-yr old (Music Wonderland course), then 4-yr till now (Music Junior Course).  The progress so far is acceptable to me, especially the recent half-year, show great improvement.  Before that, I nearly gave up since my son showed no interest and didn't want to practise.  But now much much better.

In between I also tried to let him to attend private lessons but found the effect totally disappointing.  Maybe at their age, group lessons will be more effective than private.  Of course after all (starts from 6-yr maybe) will turn to private lessons.  

For Tom Lee, I hearsay the quality of teachers varied among different centres.  Teacher is also very important.  We changed centres in the middle of the classes and found the existing teacher is much much better than the first one.

How's your boys in the picnic?
My son only talks about the Mcdonald food at school.

I'm not aware of the plan.  Indeed, the principal of SJPS briefed all parents of K3 in the school hall for the primary one application system.  During the briefing, she sold the beauty of a half day school like SJP.

SJPS has 48 classes (8x6) and each classroom has to be shared by a.m. and p.m. classes.  I think it needs to find a new campus to implement the plan or if it turns to be a DSS school, the change will apply to new students in future.

I also know this but a parent I met during a B-day birthday told me that they will move at K3 time because K3 is pm class and it will be very troublesome to arrange 接送。
