她讀n1主流班時, 英文係每日20分鐘,由外籍老師教, 普通話好似都有, 唔係好記得了.

你問主流班好, 還是國際班好? 其實要看你自己的取向, 你希望小朋友學甚麼, 我自己來講, 就是想她學好些英文, 打好個英文基礎(因家中提供不到好的學英語環境) 而幼稚園階段就是最好的學語言的階段, 所以我選擇了讀國際班.
而在這一年半的時間內, 我非常满意囡囡在英文方面的成績.

究竟讀主流班好定國際班好,好睇你小朋友(如性格,吸收能力)及你的要求,想得到d咩.

N1是沒有普通話學.

Hi Fionyiu,
  I do want to share my view. Some parents didn't like there children to join national class because they think that the children are more naughty. How about your kid? Is she energetic ? : I know one parent's child who is the youngest in national class and always keep slient in class. She felt that her child is difficult to learn from the class esp. the Eng. language. She then quit it and study at other school.However, I find that Hilary can get good progress as there is no one to talk with him in english during day time and i thought that children can easily learn English when they are young.Therefore, I agree some mum said you should know your character of your kid first. By the way, I think when your child is in K1 if you want to study national class, whole day national class may be more appropriate as it has chinese subject. Some mum shared with me that pure national class without chinese subject may find that they have difficult to study in P.1 as they have no practice in K3.

     Hilary is also in Group A (3:00 to 4:00pm.) i think it  has only one class.

Janet 講得無錯, 如果你也跟我一樣, 想她學好些英文的話, 當然國際班是不錯的選擇.  你問n1讀甚麼班好? 照道理, 學語言應該越細個越好, 不過,我也沒有這方面的經驗,  只知道囡囡有些同學k2才轉讀國際班, 但也能跟得上. 當然, 如果本身家中不是常常講英文的話, 也無可能要求小朋友讀完國際班後, 就能講得一可流利英文, 我只是想她打好個基礎, 以後上小學時, 會讀得輕鬆些, 唔會抗拒英文.

以上只是我個人的想法, 希望能對你有些啟示.

Thank you for your opinions.  I think I will send my kid to study international class.  I hope he likes English and learns more vocabulary in the school.

By the way, please tell me what differences between half day class and full day class.

Dear Fionyiu,
     It depends your needs. One goal of studying in whole day class is to train up children to be getting more independent and social skills in relating with other schoolmates. I think that it is good. But, half day school also has its adventages. 傭人 has more time to have individual contacts with the kids and intensively talk and play with them. Some might offer the kids with extra exercise books. It depends if you can have good trained up 傭人.Moreover, children have more time to relax .Fion, you can think of it. As I am busy in work. Therefore, I choose whold day school and my child is naughty and energetic, and he does not have any brother and sister,whole day class is more suitable to him , i think. How about your kid's personality?

晚上問過囡囡來, 她說今日Ms.Joseph有問她們問題, 佢話有一句唔識答(仲話大件事Tim), 我問她記唔記得老師問甚麼, 她說老師問她們How many sister/brother do you have? 她那組只有Hilary & Ｔimafy 識答arh, 聽她講係一小組一齊問問題, 睇吓邊個答得又快又好, 唔知係唔係呢?  

你地既小朋友有無講呀?

今天我終於忍不著打電話問囡囡的班主任, 她說沒有人離職, 只是在上幾個月有一位外籍老師移民澳州. 我心也定了一點.

囡囡有兩個班主任的: 林錦芳老師及 Miss Khan Balqees Begum.  林老師教了八年, 但是Miss Balqees 從八月才入職, 所以很怕是她離職. 我也不知道有沒有分AB組, 我想可能是這兩個老師照顧二十八個學生.  嚴老師那邊主流班有分AB組嗎?

看您較後的留言, 似乎已有了決定讀國際班了.  囡囡在學校是有學生字的, 但是沒有普通話學的.  囡囡從十月開始, 共有三個主題, 分別是: All about me, food 及下星期開始的 Family.

如果您想知多一點, 可以到Oscar的網站上, 看國際班評估的範圍, 您便會了解多一些了.

My kid is take care by his grandmother.  I think she has no time to teach him and will not encourage to do the exercise books.  I think I will choose whole day class for him.  Thank you for your reminder.

想向妳們請教, 星期一的天氣會較寒冷, 囡囡身體不太好, 請問要準備些什麼的被給她呢？ 如果一張冷氣被是否不足夠? 如加了被芯夠嗎？ 學校會否很凍？唔好意思問了太多問題, 因為我唔想她又再病。

I think 一張冷氣被加被芯is enough.  I remember that they will not open air conditioner, just open windows & fans.  U should call Miss Hui to pay attention to Vanessa.

你一定要同老師講吓你囡囡的情形, 等他們可多加留意, 例如起床後,要盡快穿上外套,以免著涼等, 同Ms.Li 講都可以, 因為下午是跟Ms. Li 的.

多謝關心, 其實我都已經與Ms. Li & Ms. Hui講過, 她們都有留意, 她們如果觀察到vanessa好似有點不適服, 她們都有來電話告知, 但一個老師要照顧十幾二十人, 我唔想加重她們的負擔, 如果可以自己做好d, 她們就不用太辛苦。
