報了播道書院小一07年度,有冇同伴呀?

講一些個人的感受 ! 我原先已選定要入播道, 因為我希望小朋友入讀英文小學, 而且個人覺得盧校長有心以小朋友的利益為出發點, 雖然我家住北角的, 之前都會擔心小朋友因路途遠會否疲倦, 而且學校較新等等的問題, 而 15/16.  但入了播道討論區之後, 令我更想我的小朋友入讀, 看到每個家長的投入, 對小朋友的關心及正面面對每一個負面問題的回應, 都很有 POINT, 對學校合作, 信賴及支持, 如有機會作為一份子, 對我及小朋友都有益處, 如果每間小學的家長都是這樣, 學校就好辦了.  有時都會覺得教師很難做, 因為現時的家長投訴多於瞭解及支持, 盼日後多與老師溝通, 令老師壓力減低, 我想對我們的小朋友都受惠, 這是我小小的分享 !

小朋友是需要時間去適應,所以中文課會用廣東話+普通話,小朋友都會懂得用普通話讀每課內容.

而每星期都有一堂是普通話拼音.

除了生命教育課和中文課外,其他均用英語+少許廣東話(若學生遇上不明白的地方),textbooks均是英文書.

請不要太擔心,學校和家長亦很重視語言發展.相信日後會逐漸加強!

我小朋友上學短短一個月,各方面都均見進步,這已足夠!

我們自第一次參加後直至現在都有上成人主日學, 十分享受閱讀聖經的過程, 當然更希望可以和大家一起在學校一起崇拜!

Dear fionsckan,

Thanks for your valuable advice. You're right, try 1st round to Maryknoll, if it fails, waiting for lucky draw or knock the door at last.

Anyway, I love EC and hope every parents don't give up the 2nd round EC interview.  Good luck to you all.

I'm gald to hear your interest of joining this meaningful activity. I don't know the exact worship place in the school now. I think that the worship place may be probably in the hall of primary school section. Anyway, I'll phone Patrick, the pastor of the church to confirm it and tell you later!

Have phoned the church! They'll start the worship at 10am and end at about 11:45am. The location of worship is at the hall of secondary school section. Hope you join them!

I submitted the application form this month, and probably will attend the interview this Saturday.  We know that the interview is difficult (in English and Potungwa)

Can anyone tell me the details ??  Do you think that they will ask the same questions in the second round of interview?

Please do remember to tell the interviewer:
I wish my kid to be a "Serving leader" to serve the community in future and EC is a place to train your kid to achieve this way of learning.

I recapped Mr Lo had told all parents many many times how to be a serving leader.
