My son is studying in K3 and has been admitted to P1 of SJPS.

I'm not sad, but positive and realistic.  He's been joining a lot of extra-curricular activities but will definitely reduce afterwards.  I really agree all round talents and balanced development.  However, subject to the potential of my son, my primary role is to keep him to be a Band One student for the next six years.

Exactly!! I start worrying now!

My boy is that kind of impatient person.  In spite of talented or not, he is just impatient to do anything for a long period of time!!

Perhaps your son will be a band 1 student + good at music/sports/arts.....     Hope all boys can be like that (there are many successful cases, right?)

My boy will attend the interview this week.  May I ask, will my home address more or less affect the chance of admission?  As I also have to fill in the "district" of my home address, does this mean that they may be looking for those kids living within the Wanchai "net"?  Thanks.

Yes recently many ppl sick.  My mom (living with us) and my hubby were also sick last week, now recovered.

I think it's very difficult to answer your question because everybody's answer would be a wild guess only.  I think no one would ask and no teacher would tell you on what basis your son was / was not admitted so......

I know some of my boy's classmates are living outside Wanchai.  But I've no idea about their other background (eg. their fathers are 'old boys', etc.)

I think the boy's performance is the most important factor.

3. SJ Kinder is easy to join SJ Primary school?

I totally agree!  We don't live in Wanchai area, and I saw many ex-students as well on the interview day.  So I think your question- "Address affects the admission" ..... really .....don't know!!!!!

   How about your son? Does he recover or not now? He need spent more time to do the homework. The weatehr is sudden changed and continue  very cold in the coming day. My son also had running nose but no need to visit the Dr. Be care of all mami.

    I am also lived outside the "Wanchai". As I know many classmate also live outside, so I think it doesn't any matter. I think the point of admit may be related to any brother or father as the old student. And, also the kids performance. I hope you can get your success in the interview.

Thanks. My son is much better, just a little cough. He went to school yesterday la.
I took the homework on Friday, asked him to do most of them on Sat and Sun.

Holiday starts from TOMORROW ! Total 3 days until Friday, plus Sat. and Sun. -> 5 days !! enough for a short trip to say, Japan lah.    

But I'm busy with office business this week so can't take leave for a short trip lah      
if possible, wish both I and my hubby can have a free day on Friday, plan to have a family trip to Macau to stay 1 night, can go to see see 漁人碼頭
anybody have been there already ?

My boy said he ate 4 cakes last Wednesday, so he could not finish his lunch that day!

By the way, did you guys find that the teachers are stricter than before?  Like dictation?
