Not yet.  I am busy with Ms. A exam ' coz we spent too much time for playing during X'mas.
I am dating TSLiu and HeiHeiMa to go to GZ Science Museum together.  However, we all are busy and didn't fix anything so far.  Perhaps CNY is too rush for everyone.  Are you interested to join us?  (but it is a long.......plan.......... )

Yes, it's a bit too rush to go during CNY.  Would love to join you, HeiHeiMa & TSLiu but as we might have other travel plans in April, I can't give you a definite "Yes" at this moment.

I read your post in BK for a long time,
I find you all keep in touch after the graduation in St Cat. That is good news for me to know that you all can share the experience in your kid's school life and chat together in lesisure time to release some pressure from your kids.
Please understand my request that I would like to well planning for my daughter to admit a good primary school next year.
As I know some of your kids had a offer from DGS. Would you mind to share some experience with me.
I have some query in my mind for a long time and hope you may provide some hints for my reference and hopefully I can well prepare for my little angel next year.
1. Most of parents also advised me that it needs both of parents to submit the application form to DGS. This is one of the point of DGS would be considered ?
2. Also both of the parent also need to attend the interview.
3. Most of parents also said that the headmaster scan the parents in the interview process
4. What kind of dressing code we need in the interview ? Formal office look or 名牌 look or  太太斯文 look is Ok
5. May I know you are working mum or housewife
6. What kind of certificate and awards you may have
7. Any reference letter, profile or knock door letter should be provided to DGS

I am so sorry quite a lot of question to trouble you. Hopefully you can understand this is all come from my love to my kid.

Otherwise, the same questions as above also applied for the following schools which I also interest to apply them as backup. As you know, the success acceptance in the following schools also not a easy tasks for me. May I share your past experiences
in the interview arrangement for Good Hope, SPCC, SFA, CKY, Kowloon Tony Primary and Kowloon Tong Aliances as I find some of you had already studied in the above.

Also what kind of awards or courses can be taken to fullfil the expectation of the school ?

Otherwise, profile is a must for some schools, how can I prepare a good profile to attract the schools ? Can you share the experience with me?

As I know, the K2 and K3 school report is important. Do I need to have all grade A in the report ?
As I find my daugnhter only got 80% grade B(4 stars) in the report in the 1st term of school report in St Cat. Is it that mean her acedemic is just in average or good enough to apply the famous private school ?

Hi cy664,
I try to answer your questions from my personal experience but it by no means represents the school or Mrs Dai's thoughts:
1. No, I don't know anyone submitting the form with both parents, and I saw someone sending in maids.
2. Not necessarily as far as I know.
3. Don't know as I didn't look at her!  (sooooo impolite!)
4. I guess office look if you're a working mum and 太太斯文 look if you're full-time mum.  I myself wore a suit worth less than $800 and carried a bag of some $300 (see, soooooo cheap!)
5. Working mum.
6. No special certificate and award. Just the usual stuff.
7. Only 5 pages of whatever you want.  It's optional and I know someone who got admitted didn't hand in the 5-pager.

Most of the noise from DGS in BK may not be the fact and apply to all.
My main point need to do is train up my kid to outspoke. Is it true ?
Do you have any idea that what kind of character and strenght of your kid to attract DGS to accept her ?
