The English teacher Ms. Siu in 1C is quite strict & have high requirement when she correct my daughter's Maryknoll handwriting.  My daughter got a few handwritting not writting properly like the letter "l" if it is not as straight as a straight line, some marks will be deducted or the top line of the capital letter "I" is not straight enough, some marks got deducted too.  So yesterday when I look at my daughter's homework on handwriting, I have to make sure she write almost the same as the sample showed:(

Good to know this. I heard that it's hard to be the lunch helper as many parents request for this.
Which month will you be on duty as lunch helper?

Hi muimuiyan,
Yes, quite strict and need very good eye-sight to spot the discrepancies. I am very tired to do detailed checking on my girl's homework. Anyways, I think it's normal for the teacher to be strict at the beginning so that the girls will write better in future.
Does your daughter tell you what's going on in class?

Not really, because she has been asked 2 times before I go back home from work, one time by her grandmother & 2nd time by her auntie so when I asked her when I got home, she is not willing to answer my questions .  But she told me last night that it's fun to go to school & she does not want Saturday & Sunday to come.

Hi jjbaby, Have you bought the brown wrapping paper for VA yet?  I don't very understand what it is.  When I asked the 書局 this morning, they only showed me the gift wrapping paper (very beautiful, very bright and haven't plain brown).  But I think this is not I want.  Do you have any idea on this? The paper should be thin or thick, hard or soft? My daughter is only told me it is water proof.  I feel so confusing.

I thinks it's the 雞皮紙呀, those used for wrapping parcel, they have green color & brown color but I bought the green color because it is thicker, hope I bought the right thing.

Yes, my daughter said your daughter sits next to her on the school bus, is your daughter on Bus no. 4 also?

My daughter is ok, she only started to 嘔 when she was waiting for the school bus.  But she was feeling fine after she went home so I didnt' bring her to see doctor.  Her class teacher called me and asked me to bring her to see a doctor and get a doctor's note for the sick leave.  But I told her that she's now feeling ok and I don't think she needs to see a doctor.  So she asked me to giver her a letter tomorrow for the sick leave.

Anyone know how formal should the letter be?  Just a simple sentence should be fine???
