Sorry for the late reply....haven't been here for quite a while.... Janet is ok for the moment, hopefully the arrangement to see the surgeon can be made soon.

Regina, is the name of your DVD "DS-the first 18 months"? I saw it in Amazon. I'm going to buy 'Fine Motor Skills' and 'Gross Motor Skills for Children with Down Syndrome'. Do Regina & Hanhanma have any other recommendations? I found the book 'Early Communication Skills' in CU library, I'll read it first and then decide whether to buy it or not. Do u think it's worth buying? I also found an interesting book called 'Gifts' there, it's a collection of stories written by families of children with DS. Do you have this book? Is it good?

hanhanbaba has changed our computer system from windows to linux to avoid virus. he has not installed the chinese pen yet.

we are going to bintan island (an island in indonesea but the area is run by singaporean) + singapore (6days5 nights).

glad to know about janet's recent progress.

haven't got the book 'gifts'.

another book you must have in hand (i strongly recommend) is Medical & Surgical Care for Children with Down Syndrome edited by D.C. Van Dyke, Philip Mattheis, Susan Schoon Eberly and Janet Williams.

the other book you mentioned 'early communication skills' is quite enlightening.

sorry for late reply. just returned from the trip.

a few days before the trip, hanhan had fever and diarrhoea. she recovered a day before the trip.

the trip was relaxing - mainly swimming, eating and sleeping.

will let you see the photos later.

chelsea ma, enjoy your trip.

catca, how is janet?

regina, will have breakfast with you when chelsea ma comes back.
