天軍話原來有些同學會被選為小演員，有些則是唱歌的，也有些是兩者都有份！天軍是做旅店老闆---小演員！

X'mas有冇人一齊出來玩？地点、時間待定！

早兩日派的默書小簿令我有d surprise！原來已經開始好正經的默書，不再是功課簿的起字頭！

Agree to have gathering after Sunday school sometime in Dec.

When I was same age as our kids, 默書 only started in K3, but now they already had 默書 !!! Also in our days, we used copybook but now they first start is already writing the word.

Dear all mami,

AK is not as what other Kinder parent think, the standard is so so.  I agreed with AK's way of teaching, start from basic and go further.  We are all surprised by 默書 and I think our kids are well adapted to this way of teaching.  Dominic did not complain anything about 默書 and it seems quite natural to him.

May I know who is going to be the soldier in the Christmas drama?  I know from Dominic "soldier" is going to have a very long dialogue.

我都震驚要默書(因之前派回來時都沒有細心看過)即電景熹問過究竟,佢話不是叫默書,而是將生字寫在記事簿上.(這本薄叫記事薄)
而又再問彭老師,她說只是堂上溫習生字,如小朋友忘記怎樣寫,老師會即時提點.所以都不算是默書.
其實我覺得老師以"記事薄"這名詞來形容默書.可以另小朋友慢慢習慣起來將來真的要默書各位小朋友都以為是寫記事薄便沒有太大的壓力. :

hello,hello,大家好,差不多一個月没來跟大家傾傾,因身子不太好,今日發現原來自己巳經out咗好多.係咪A班同B班有點不同呢.浠浠没有甚麼記事簿呢,她又没有提及過呢,聖誕節佢哋負責數白欖.同唱聖詩.日日在家聽到都識唸,但最尾幾句佢就成日唔記得,有冇媽咪可分享下.

HEHE....我係坐第一行but.....係由尾數起. 我通常都坐果度,事關亞二小姐係果d時間通常都會扭眼訓.方便出入唔好so擾其他家長嘛.

果日落左堂後接囝囝時,我見到你囡囡..本來想同你打個招呼but佢同其他小朋友玩緊,唔見你係附近.下次有機會同你say hi先.

Hi Dominic mum,

Some people said AK's standard is so so.  But for kids just 4 years old, what they are learning now is designed for their standards. So, I do not think AK's standard is below average.

默書 is writing the single letter on the small blue book, similar to what they did in homework but just does not have the word to follow.

Hi VincentKenneth,

I keep on hearing other mami say AK standard is below average, no guarantee for AP and other famous school.  Therefore, they opt for other K.  However, I think moral development of kids at this stage is much more important than academic, therefore I choose AK.  Now I find that kids are training in a very effective way.  Started from basic and go further and have wide exposure to environemnt for learning.  And much more important, they like going to school and learn in a quite natural way.  I do not feel regret sending Dominic to study in AK.

There was once a time I was quite worry about AK cos a lot of mami's rating for AK was so so.   
And a friend of mine even changed to other K.
Time prove to me my choice is corrected, I found a big difference in Dominic, no matter  in moral or academic.  Mami here are very supportive and friendly, I am much relaxed now.

Hi Dominicleung,

I agreed what you said. The reason I chose AK is their moral development and I think AK is doing very well on that especially they have the religion lesson.

We need to ask ourselves what is our standard of a good kinder ? Is it having 3-4 homeworks per day a good kinder ? Teaching difficult, long words a good kinder ? At the age of 4, I am sure the kids can not digest them. Pushing kids too hard will have adverse effect especially when they dislike doing so many homeworks. Learning should be fun, besides I think the teachers and parents at AK are quite nice, you call tell when having the parents meeting. So, I am quite satisfied with AK except the classroom is a bit small with 45 students in one class and the playground is small too. Ideally, it should be 15-20 students in 1 class lol..

Dear all mami in reading,
Poor Dominic is having chicken pox, verified by our family doctor although he had vaccination more than a year ago.  He need to stay at home until Dec 8.  Please also take good care of your kids cos I have no idea where did he catch it.  Please keep me post of the school and I hope this does not affect his performance in Christmas drama as you all know this is the first time Dominic has a dialogue in the
Christmas drama.

I encouraged Dominic by reminding him Yin Tung came across the same experience and she was very brave.  He did saying the same and felt much better.
