Agree!  Who wants or needs an organ transplant when he/she is all healthy? :)

BTW, one of the parents who applied for 10+ schools last year told me her health had deteriorated noticeably over the year and this year (her son is studing P1 in a prestigious school) she even had a more serious health issue.  In my humble opinion, no need to use the high cost of health in return for a place in a prestigious school.

The 18% probably excludes students who are sent to other countries for studies before HKAL/HKCEE.   If one is a die-hard U's of HK fan, the relevant % (i.e. only counting those who study in HK without leaving) will be higher.

You will have one sooner or later...so why worry so much?  

My wife and I were inspired by a friend recently and we released all our disappointment on being rejected by our favorite school.  What I can say from this inspiration is, "having something now may not be as good as you think, and having something later may not be as bad as you think."

我兩個妺都係文科人,A-level要兩至三個 A 先入到 BBA !我個人都係覺得理科揀嘅科目可多d,如一 d 理科科目“mount”車邊都入到嘛!
不過BBA真係前途好,揾工好,揾錢更好'嫁個好老公仲好!

I agree.  She can afford an iPad while I am just using an old laptop and have no high-tech equipment (even my mobile phone has no video/camera capabilities and cannot access the internet).  Now, who is poorer?

I try to save meal costs by having lunch at tea time instead of peak hours.  Another piece of evidence of my poverty.
