i just found the grey cardigan from Elle. actually, the colour is not match with the dress, a little bit lighter, really hard to find the colour exactly same as uniform.

but at least, they can wear if weather become cold and cold..

Adrian doesn't have the problem of 'foo pay'. he's also a lousy sleeper. but because he sleeps in a Grobag (sleeping bag), he will stay warm for the whole nite. Perhaps you could make Preston wearing a vest. it also serves the purpose.

Thanks Mary. i was ok now..so scared to pass the virus to Preston.  
Actually I got a sleeping vest (very thick) for him 2 years ago, it is kind of too warm for him now. I did not know Grobag has sizes upto 3 or 4 years old. Maybe i will check it out at mothercare afterwork.

I bought the long knee white socks from Citistore at MC2 tonight.  You can check it out at the shoes section for kids.  The material is good for the $29 per pair.

I've bought some more pairs of long socks, but they are still a bit too long for Him Him. Maybe he's really short...haha.

Forgot to tell you that last friday, Him Him took a donut back to school for tea, but he dropped it on the floor how poor he was! He felt unhappy and sooner or later, he told me that Wing Tung gave him 2 pieces of biscuits which are in star shape. He felt happy then. Wing Tung's really kind and please pass the message "Thank you very much" to her.

Today Him Him took the red coat to school, but I found that his hands are still a bit cool. Seems that the school uniform is not warm enough to him. I gotta buy him a grey sweater asap.

i read a msg from other topics, they just have a 第一學期評估 on 11Nov08 and it is covered K1 as well...make me so scare...as i never train Tungtung before...not she what grade she will take.....:(

Haha..we are in the same boat..because i also do not practice with Preston.  i only read or go through the weekly theme book each week.  Let's see the outcome.

For the grey cardigan, i bought one from Giordano kids for Preston last night.  It was pretty warm and soft.  You could go and check it out.  If not, you could also get the vest and wear between the red coat & the shirt.  
By the way, have u started the swimming lesson yet?

Yes, I also heard of it from other threads. But don't worry. They are just K1. Don't give too much pressure on them.

We also didn't do any revision with Him Him, just sometimes will play the Chinese word cards with him.

I'll take a look to the Giordano kids tonight when home.

Yes, Him Him's just started a swimming lesson. The trainer (a young man) sounds very nice. There are totally 3 in the class. They are of the same age (all in k1 this year). One of them is a month younger than Him Him and he's taken a course before already (i.e. 8 lessions) and is now able to 浮身 to swim. Really sounds good. I hope Him Him can do as good as him after one course.

Finally, we've enrolled to Kwun Tong site 'cos we have tomlee lesson in Megabox afterwards. Sounds more straight forward than going to Keng Leng College. Him Him sounds like the trainer and is willing to concentrate and follow his instruction. But when the lesson ended, he told his dad that he doesn't like swim! Really don't know if he's telling the truth or not. But it's just one lesson only. See the way forward...haha

Btw, how do you read the book "我的氣球呢?" with your kids? 'cos there are just a few words in the book compared to those I read before. When I read it, Him Him doesn't like it 'cos it doesn't sound like a story but focus on word recognition. I really have no idea of how to read it in a more interesting way...poor me.

Hope Anson will get well soon. actually, tungtung still have a little bit cough with phlegm. so i gave her "monkey bezoar powder" which bought from Eu Yan Sang as dont want to let her eat too much medicine. it is so expensive, cost $150 per one (with 10% off). last night, she all when i feed her...so, already waste $150....

for the assessment, heard from other mami, teacher will do with other child again if they are absent on 11Nov...so dont worry...
