Totally agree with your view.  I am not going to tell my son of the result as it is meaningless to him, right.  Just looking forward!!!

I think most of the kids enjoyed the interview session in Ying Wa. My kid as well. I think Principle Snoopy can inspire the teachers and the kids.  I feel  a little disappointed as well but afterall,  ...

I have the same religous as YW and also got a 牧師信as well , my son is also a gifted child and I also submit the full assessment to YW  .......but I don't have the chance for 2nd in,too.

Just wonder what is their seletion criteria???  To select talkative / active boy??? or potential children??????
But anyway, our sons have try their best during the interview.  I'm so pround of him!!!

Hi Acoggo,  

Your boy may be disadvantaged by being gifted child.  As far as I know, not all schools are looking for gifted children.  Some even try to exclude those coz they thought they may need additional resources to take care of few ones.  I remembered when my daughter (her IQ was asseseed as superior, i.e. IQ over 140, by using several assessment methods by academics of University and not normal psychologist) was applying for school, I also submitted the report, then we have not been very successful.  I guess one of the reasons is she was a superior child.  

But, i think i gained a lot when bringing kids for interview and so are my kids.   This year, it is my boy.  I told him that it is life.  Not the best will always shine and win.  Learn to lose as well as to win.  Learn to be bumble.

Again, when I read through this thread, there is whole lot I can learn.  Learn to love my kids more, learn to be more patience as I see so many GREAT MOTHERS around.  I will not regret applying Ying Wa, whether succeed or not.

Let's continue to work on it.  I trust our LORD GOD has prepared best for our kids and HIS kids.

相信呢個時間，好多人會唔開心，好多推測．．．

我小朋友入了圍，他是坐唔定那一種，不過什麼宗教也沒有，沒有關係，沒有哥哥，也不是根德仔．

各位家長不用太擔心，塞翁失馬．

我同意小LEGO老豆，我同我家姐的小朋友都入左圍，我和我家姐都沒有任何關係，反而我的小朋友是根德仔及有宗教, 而家姐的仔什麼都不是，但佢地兩個小朋友都較為活躍，因此入圍的小朋友可能是校長心目中的 TARGET。就算現在入了 300人內, 但仍要面對另一考驗, 就是家長 in. 啦﹗這part 由家長去負責, 稍一出錯會連累小朋友入唔到 150人, 諗起都擔心﹗

未入圍的小朋友, 大家努力啦﹗
