Admirable!  How's Bowie's U3 school-life? Do they have to do a lot of homework already?  Since L2 began, Al Al has to start writing the small case letters, it's quite difficult to make him write properly in between the lines... Ai !!

我今次係獨自去偷歡--"re-less嘛"，同3個同事去旅行，由於8月有人唔得，而我又唔想再遲d出發，因為要跟大仔功課勒，所以唯有揀9月1日Yola生日果日出發，本來都諗過帶埋佢去，但同行有兩個同事係單身，如果我同另一位同事帶小朋友去，我覺得人地會唔鍾意囉。咁辛苦生佢，諗下以旅行去紀念理一日囉，咁會好過d，我會提早同佢慶祝。

理排我做野太辛苦啦，唔放下假人都會顛!

Koh Samui即係邊處?係唔係蘇梅島?我未去過架，聽人講果度好靚。其實泰國去過5次架勒，曼谷、芭提雅、華欣、七岩、布吉都曾去過，係未去過泰北及蘇梅島，有機會都要去下。

泰國平、靚、正，治安又好，係人都愛佢。

You seem to be in jail now. I think you are right.  Sometimes we need a break so as to make ourselves pleasure and get rid of being suffocated.  So to be "re-less" is very important.  Therefore, I will leave for Thailand on 01/09/2006 to have a refreshing trip.    I hope you can enjoy the lunch.

Yola does not talk much about her classmates, but I think she's okay in her class.  Yesterday she brought back some sweets, which she claimed being given by her classmate.  However, she didn't mention who gave it to her.  Tonight, my husband bought her some chocolate sweets to let her bring back to school tomorrow.

Yola has difficulty in writing.  She still can't write properly such as the number "2"&"5"and also the small letter "a".  She needs much time to practise her handwriting. :cry:

昨晚ga circle 功課, Circle 劃得都麻麻地, 有d似橢圓, 有大有細,而且偏右, 咁點算呢? 洗唔洗點教, 因為她唔洗我捉手, 自己做ga, 如果只是唔靘而擦, 她可能唔開心喎

Yes, you're right~ Koh Samui is 蘇梅島, a place that we've never been to.

If including Nicolas, we've visited Thailand twice already. The first time was to Krabi (We strongly strongly recommend but we are not sure if there's any direct flight from HK at present). The second time was to Phuket. Indeed, both are nice places to go and we generally like the Thai people, being very friendly~

你地都唔好太擔心, 都係啱啱開始, 到xmas我相信每個小朋友都可以寫得好好, 仲唔駛你地guide住寫ga lak.

Hmm... we would treat it this way : If the word / character is correct, we will just let it go ahead. If it's wrongly written, we would rub it off, encourage Nicolas to try better. He's so far OK~ Indeed, if Nicolas is not pleased with his work, he will ask us to erase it for him~

For the "circles", he couldn't draw perfect circles, either, but don't worry too much. I guess it's OK~

Nicolas is generally willing to do his homework~ Last night we taught him to write "生" (his name). He's quite enjoying~

SandyKL :  You're right about relaxing.  With a ridiculous job like mine I'm finding I'm constantly looking for relaxation methods.  I used to do Yoga and have been meaning to get back into it.  Know of inexpensive yoga classes around??

Actually I've been reading up on a book called the  "Montessori Approach".  I tried some exercises from the book as Vanessa was writing the "B"  and "S" incorrectly.    I managed to correct it by printing these letters in lowercase using the "Comic Sans" font as found in MS-Word.  Then I  bought some wool and a large needle and got Vanessa to stitch using the wool following the curves of the letter.  This helps them to feel slowly the curvature and bends of the letter. You just stitch in and out, in and out....  Vanessa quite enjoys it plus you are not pressuring them to use their little hands and a pencil to repeatedly learn how.
