How's Eugene, baby and the new maid?

I chose Kornhill kindergarten summer camp... they have an outing every week with the teacher, and swimming in the little pool at school 2 times a week.  I think it's nice.

Ahha! Thank you for remembering me!
Not yet.  Actually the registration dates are 26 & 27.4.07.

The point is that there is no Potunghua lesson and only simple English lessons in SSKG, and its travelling distance is very long.  So it's quite a headache for me to arrange extra English and Potunghua lessons for my daughter.  If I need to move to net 11, my whole family need to adapt!!

Maybe my girl may register SKH in May 07, but up to now the decision is not 100% firm.  My daughter always says she likes SSKG a lot because she want to make friends with 'good girls'.  

Do you think I'm silly to lose the opportunity to enter this famous SSKG?

Hi Cinder,

My boy is studying in SKH (Central) so I know a little bit about the kindergarten.  If your concern is the English standard, then I must say it is not so high there.  After all SKH is a Chinese kindergarten.  

SSKG and SKH are both very good kindergartens, you cannot make a wrong choice by choosing one of them.

Thanks! I think if my girl go to traditional school in future, medium English standard will be enough.  Do you know any about SSKG as compared with SKH?

Sorry, I actually know quite little about SSKG.  Some of my friends' kids are graduates of SSKG, but all of them have graduated for a long time.

Horace mama, My baby girl is super cute, loves to smile & talk. She eats well & sleep well, very easy to take care. I am so blessed.

My maid is okay. I even let her alone at home taking care my baby. Eugene accepts her more & more. Especially when I am angry at him & ignore him, he will go to the maid to look for some help. Does your maid do dangerous things? 2 days ago, I found my maid standing on the flower bed, hold on to the window frame, physcially outisde of my flat to clean the window. Wow! that's scared me to death. What to do if she falls down and die?? Then I find her holding my baby to cook in the kitchen too. Well you see, she is good enough to do her work but not using her brain.

It's so good to hear that both Eugene and your baby girl are doing so good.  Horace is also getting a little bit better now.

I picked up Horace today and Ms Wong told me that they have sandwiches and instant noodles this week.. as they are learning about all the food... really cool!

Thanks for  your information! I've just checked the link and it sounds quite good.  Previously I've intended to join Letterland as the school fee is cheaper.  But do you think this summer camp is much better?

Cinder, but it mostly serves around Kornhill area since it's not very convenient ah... I don't know about letterland so I may not be able to answer your question.

Ellie, I like the new photo too. Andrew looks like a movie star. Where did you take the photo? Is it worth to recommend to us? I took Eugene for studio-phototaking 2 years ago in Mongkok, the outcome is okay but quite expensive.

The studio called Baby House, it's in TST.  Andrew had taken photos there every year, around his b-day time.  So the photo was taken when he was around 3.  The photographers can capture the most natural moment of babies/kids, and I like their attitude.  The price is reasonable, I think.  I have pm you their website.

Hubby and I like this studio very much.  You can read from my post to Cyrus, we took Andrew there every year.  The photographers can take very good natural pictures, particularly with babies when you can't take very good ones by yourself at home  

I learnt about this photographer when I was planning for my wedding (haha, way back in 5 yrs ago).  I've asked him their quotation for taking wedding pictures, he charged very expensively.  But several years ago, he opened this studio for taking babies/children pictures.  I think they charged quite reasonable.  Around $9xx for 1 roll of colored pictures the first time, and if you go there again, they'll waive the $3xx "service charge".  Personally, I think it worths every penny.  And since you got a baby girl now, you may like to bring her to have some photos together with Eugene.
