不過，你囡囡係讀 4th term 的 year 10 嗎？
她不用讀英文嗎？
佢地話當然最好係 2008 jan 去讀 year 10 啦！入學容易D，適應也容易d，但我覺得太趕了！

請問你可不可以PM我你囡囡學校的資料讓我參考下，如學費，生活費等，第一次繳交的費用大概多少？
她讀了大概九個月了，是嗎？有朋友說讀 year 11 已經太大個了，很難結交澳洲同學，這是真的嗎？還是因為學校中國人太多呢？

監護人需要和小朋友同在一個省或城市區住嗎？
我想是要在同一個城市因為有時家長日要監護人出席.

但是, 我也聽過有的 high school 會 complusory 幫學生安排監護人.

Where is your daughter going to study in Australia? Which school? My daughter got 91 in AEAS English and good results in Maths and IQ as well. Still her schooled as her to take a kind of extra English  lesssons for total 5 hours. My daughter is in Melbourne Girls Grammar School. Now we pay about 10000 AUD a term and plane tickets are about HK$20000 for 2 trips back home. In her school, not many Chinese. In the borarding house there about 5-6 Asians getting along together but they all communicate in English.
In Australia, students under 18 must have a guardian. i pay the guardianship company about 1400 AUD a year which I think very expensive and actually by far the guardian doesn't really do anything.

我係sauhan,不經不覺我個女已經去了柏斯成個月,現在已經開始習慣,仲肥了(因早前佢話唔夠衫,柏斯d衫又貴又大件,咁我就即刻寄d衫比佢,點知佢話好窄!!!)佢homestay對佢好好,仲識得煮飯比佢食,現在個女日日早睡早起(d西人好早睡,又冇娛樂,shopping mall又早關)得閒個女就去跑步同讀書,不過佢話大學都幾多功課做,近幾日天氣又開始冷又成日落大雨,都好悶。最後,謝謝開頭解答我d問題的各位媽咪!

Full mark for AEAS is 100. Actually according to AEAS, for year 10-12, if English gets over 80, no English programme is needed, 71-80makrs, 4-8 weeks English course should be taken, 61-70 marks,8-12 weeks English, 46-60 marks 12-20 weeks...... Different school also has its own rules, I think.  You can buy the sample papers in agent.
For Non-Verbal Reasoning Ability test (IQ): she got 48 out of 50
For Maths sh got 21 out of 30.

I search on internet and ask friends about well known schools and compare 5 top in Melbourne, I choose MGGS because it is famous, comparatively cheaper than others, and not so many Chinese students.
My initial payment is two terms school fee, one term for deposit which is about AUD35000. (including boarding) Then every term the school will send you a bill, you will pay term by term for the coming months. (bording and school fee together)
Every term the school has half term break, or 2 or 3 days weekend when all girls msut leave school. Normally the students go to their guardian's home or host family. Of course you must pay for staying there day by day. As far as I know the market price in melbourne is about AUD 40 a day. Since we don't have any relatives or friends, my daughter and her other chinese friends went to her school mates' home which has saved a lot of money.  
Regarding the pocket money, I opened an account for her in Melbourne, she can draw money from the bank when needed. If she buys something like uniforms, text books in school, she doesn't need to pay but the school will send the bill together with the school school fee to me, i pay from Hong Kong.
In australia, different place has different system for university. Sydney and Melbourne are not the same way. I'm not really sure how it works, but I think most probably my daughter will stay in Melbourne for universiyt.
You can always contact a good agent for information. It's totally free. I paid nothing to the agent for my daughter, the agent receives money from school. Also the best way is to go to internet to search for schools or you can send email to schools for any questions. Sometimes the agents try to push you to choose the school it has connections. When I choose MGGS for may daughter, I consulted with 2 agents, they all said it was very difficult and impossible to enter this school and this school took very few Chinese students...., then they gave me other names. Trust yourself, always try! Nothing is impossible. You can even find a good school without the help of agent.

我以前都係澳洲讀書, 我都試過帶d菊花精果d野... 但係過關時, 俾個關員問我係咩... 咁又唔多識講 (包野又冇英文), 其實最好就係將d食物放埋一袋, 必要時唔要...

仲有如果你個女去sydney時, 有好多華人超市, 到時買都得

我反而建議你叫阿女帶多d保濕面膜同cream去, 因為澳洲天氣好乾, 佢地又唔多興保濕... 我以前搵極都冇保濕o既野, 搞到要即刻叫阿媽寄俾我... 哈哈

Yes, you are right. It's not so easy to match the two kids
for their holidays. The son in the UK comes back 4-5
times a year while the daughter in Melbourne comes
back  twice, christmas (2 months summer holiday in
australia) about 20 days in June-July.  
The reason they seperate in two countries because I
arranged for my son first to the UK. My daughter wanted to take HKCE first, then go out later. But in the end she
wanted to go to Australia as she has friend there, and the fee is much cheaper than in UK.

Yes, you are right. It's not so easy to match the two kids

No need to prepare or AEAS. AEAS was taken with an agent called F-N-C which I visited its exhibition and its boss
can do the oral exam at the same day of the

was the first company I searched from sebsite and
consulted and it gave me lots of ideas about studying in

Remember normally you don't need to pay to the agent
for its service. It's totally FREE! I tell you this is because
I introduce my friend to this ACEs, and she paid 2000 to
Aces for "in and out mails and letters.....". Actually
I know the agents use emails and fax for communications with schools, no need mails at all.

In Melbourne I have searched the very top private
girls school :
1. Melbourne Girls Grammer School,

2nd is the most expensive one, 3rd is also expensive and these two schools are said to have more Chinese.
