仲有, 我仲有個仔讀緊SJC(同SC隔冇幾远), 都係全英文.  我哋驚如果揀培正俾亞囡讀, 佢將來会怪我哋點解亞哥就讀英幼, 佢就要讀中幼!  :cry:  :cry:

正如大家所講..真係好頭痛....我覺得每間幼稚園都各有長處...而我個人會諗各位有冇打算想比小朋友考邊間小學。如果打算大抽獎..大部份的小學都係傳統教育，我會選一間課程較深的，因為問過不少的媽媽..都一致認為一但好彩抽到好的小學，如果幼稚園太free...小朋友都比較難適應，我表妹的女就係一個好例子...所以KV OR　ＳＣ
而報讀一所有名的幼稚園..我個人的想法係萬一派得唔好，都希望有間好的私小or直資back up...其實一路以來都比較鍾意sc...因身邊有不少的朋友的子女都係畢業生，大部份都係"醒目仔女"...而kv的比較"斯文"同淡定d...曾經諗過擔心阿仔會變成"悶旦"...但有朋友的仔讀緊k1...她的COMMENT是活潑與否都是INBORN的...現在覺得小朋友自從返學之後變得有責任感...有禮貌..COS小朋友會互相學習..同老師好有辦法，雖然係中文幼稚園..但英文程度一D都唔差..所以..我好大機會會轉投KV...但都會問多D SC的料先決定..而兩間都好的時候．．．有人建議入間平Ｄ

而一開始鍾情SC另一個原因係有個朋友係小學教師...佢話會先選SC..因為佢果間係英小...而我亦問過有關陳守仁D料...陳守仁係會收好多PLKTAY的學生..原因係大家都係PLK同埋英文學校..但我會諗陳守仁要交學費...自己原意都係想大抽獎...陳守仁都可能係BACK UP...所以放棄PLKTAY，KV 或者SC都一樣可以報陳守仁架...

而且今年ＫＶ的學生都考得好好．．．聽講有７０＋ＳＦＡ，　ＤＢＳ有＋３０．．未計其他...

但有冇唸過, 扣埋学卷, $600讀培正名校, 每个月慳番$1000, 可上英文和普通話course, 出面course通常1:5 或 1:8 , 好似好抵, 吸收仲好好多

聒人講, 培幼有一星期有二堂外籍老師, 其余三堂由本地老師教, 好似也不太差, 因每天都有英文課

我唸考小学得唔得, 同边间幼稚園關係不大, 我朋友个仔讀創价, 一星期只有ニ堂英文, 他的英文也好好

其实我同你地一样,仲揀緊培幼或 kv , 當收到培幼已决定放棄SC, 因省回的学費可做好多活動, 人也話, 讀書並非一生人的全部

想問下校車安排有什麼分別? 點解KM會好d?
其實校舍size會唔會差唔多, 因為我見兩間學校開

我囡係 km 讀緊 n1, 所以對 km 有 dd 了解

校舍: 自從去過 hkps 及其他幼稚園 interview, 我發覺 km 校舍算唔錯, 佢大過 hkps, 亦新 d. 因為佢空地較多, 所以放學時 d 校車可以泊入去校園裡面, 而係放學前半個鐘, 係唔比學生走出 building 外. 校車叔叔可以幾個幾個拖住 d 小朋友上車, 因為我發覺係放學時間, 附近 d 校巴, 褓姆車, 私家車都很多, 係校門外上落車都幾危險.

另外, km 比小朋友玩 d 大型 slide, etc 都較新.

hkps 校舍雖然舊 d, 但裡面都算乾淨

Hi dondonmami and Graham Mum,
We are still thinking about it ...  may be we think and think until the summer.  But at this moment, we perfer 培正.  Here are the reasons:
1) We hope my boy can study in a good school that he can study happily, without too much pressure.  培小 is belonged to this class.  We hate some primary school like 油天, ... that have over 10 homework per day which are quite difficult.
2) I cannot identify my boy is smart or not at this moment (he is still around 3yrs old and playing THOMAS everyday   ).  If he is not smart, at least he can enter 培小.  If he is smart, we can try the top school later.
3) For the English learning, we agree Graham Mum that we can send him to English class or find a NET for private tutor.  It is more effective.
4) But of course, SC gives us a better chance for the top school like DBS, ... via lucky draw.

We are consulting our friends and relative to get more information.  How about you?

如宣幼accept, 你們會放棄KV & SC?

我原本有報宣幼...但最終冇去interview,因kv同sc已收...當時諗一樣就係..係咪一心想入宣小(聽講會收3成,但有d學生會大抽獎之後放棄..因此有傳聞話有5成機會) or 想大抽獎...由於都係想大抽獎,宣小都會報...不過都係back up...所以最於放棄interview...希望對你選擇有d幫助啦..

For my child, I choose Pui Ching amongst SC, Pui Ching and Soka.  Personally, I like PC because of its high academic level and reputation of their students' achievements in science and maths subjects at primary and middle school level.  And I believe its easier for me to teach my child English than teaching him Chinese.  So I don't really need an English-strong Kinder.  I will give up SC.

各人的志願和喜好都很不同的！有朋友是：

1. 要 SC 或 KV，寧願放棄培正、協恩、St. Rosa of Lima's等等（也有相反的）。
2. 又有人寧願讓子女繼續升培小，即使考到女拔都話放棄！（個媽咪自己說的，雖然有點難以相信。）

不過，各人所煩惱要去「難以取捨」的，所有都是好的幼稚園。起碼說是差極有限。

totally agree --- 我都怕個囡似係呀, 所以選左kv, 希望佢定性d, 冇去in協恩/培正/宣幼, 放棄左soka/sc offers.  我十分同意全部都係好學校, 只係arm唔arm心水姐.

I know that it can't be compared with SC, but any body knows is it really, really poor English of PC?  Is it a heavy loading of home work from PC?

PC講明培幼直上小學呀, 咁先至係最吸引!  SC出嚟仲要考或大抽獎, 雖然話好大機會入到瑪利諾等名校, 但一諗到三年後又要煩升小學, PC嘅直升小一真係好吸引!

I think the English standard of International School and some English teaching 直資/私立 school like, 蔡繼有, 陳守仁 are outstanding.  And 培小 english standard should be similar to other 官立/津貼 primary school, like La Salle, 馬頭涌官小, 油天 ... because there is only one official subjust which is teached in English.  Of course, I think most of the parent will send their boy/girl to English learning class after school.  Thus, I'm not worry about English.  But the strenght of 培小 is Math and Science.

For the Secondary School, I know it is one of the best Chinese secondary school in HK.  And they take English (Syb B) exam which is same as other English Secondary School in HKCEE.

My girl is a KV girl in K3 this year.  I believe KV is a very good school which has well trained teachers and know how to educated their pupil to well manners and independence.  My daughter is able to finish her homeworks and study by herself before I come home from work.  This year, she is very lucky to get accpeted by 5 private schools without going to any interview courise. She will go to DGJS in this fall....So no need to say any longer... KV certainly is one of the best schools among Kowloon Tong area.
