Hi, Yanni-ma,

Since my boy is also a small boy who was born in late Dec, I also planned to let him try K1 application first, then if all failed, I would try N1 application.  However, when I called HKPS, they told me that both K1 and N1 applications were handled at the same time.  So, even they don't take you for K1, you have already missed the N1 application time lo (I mean for HKPS)!!

Yes! the normal application of N1 had proceeded already. After the interview on 4/12 ,I phone to the school to wait for the N1of this year and also the next year. I told the staff that my daughter  can attend school any time. She reply me that she will make a remark of my daughter and if any vancy will arrange an interview to see whether my daughter is suitable or not. But now no more vancy. And still had others children also waiting before me. May be a long long time waiting.
How your son's performance during interview? Which branch U apply? kowloon or Royal Ascot?

funny, the more i hear about how they will accept the prenurseries first or how many people on the waiting list, the less i m nervous/eager for the results.... because i think: 1) it is only fair for the prenurseries to get in first because they have already passed the test last year, and it is my own responsibilities that i didn't choose this prenursery last year, and there's nothing i can do about that now!  (2) i would think even if u r on the waiting list last year, u should have to interview again this year, and the school is silly not to choose the best from the interviews for then what's the point of going for an interview, and if it is first come first serve then we all just register when we r pregnant like what Everything_for_him said. if the school is like that then i hesitate to go to such a school anyways....

but i think hkps will want to choose the "best" kids (sorry i use this word loosely for a lack of a better word, i don't mean to say that the kids who doesn't get in r not good nor the best, just from this school's point of view only!) for they want to be better known, and one of the ways is for their grads to get into good primary schools and for that they will pick the ones which they think has the most protential and r the best bet!!!  with that, if my son gets in, then he's one of their best bet, if not then he's another school's best bet!!  "there r many ways to rome!!" 條條大路通羅馬!!!

That's the game rule of many kindergartens (famous or not famous). May be we are waiting for the never realized hope! Anyway, two weeks later we will know the result. We are better to spend the attention to the Christmas and enjoy the holiday with family! Cheers

Yanni-ma,

I have applied International stream (English - PTH) stream for my boy.  Luckily, we were interviewed by a NET that day (instead of NPT) so my boy did really good!!  But, as shared before, there is in fact very keen competition.  So we will just wait and see!!

well...... only 5 or 6 days wait left and we will have the results!!!  after a very good holiday, i m ready for anything....!!!

樂基--語文閱讀訓練好, 老師好(又有NET), campus理想,
KM--客觀條件一樣好, 不過personally對校長無好感, 所以我最後無去interview,
SC--從來不考慮, 學生太多!

點解你唔喜歡 km 校長呢 可唔可以 pm, 其實我真的冇特別去留意各間學校的校長.

Campus - 我又覺得 km 好 d, sc 嗰 toilet 好舊, pre-school campus 就較細.

sc 學生多, 但咩唔係照計師生比率 (1:15)

km 學生好似幾多表演機會, 唔知樂基課外活動方面又點呢?

其實三間學校係德育培養方面係邊間好 d 呢? 我真係唔知點選
