The school report is most important, if not the most!  My friend's girl got into DGJS without even submitting a portfolio...just the form and school report.   She was not too seriuos at that time because her girl already got accepted by a good private primary.

Yes, DGS do not accept any portfolio, only applicant form, school report + not more than 5 pages supplementary doc. But I think academic result of KG is not the most important issue they concern, cos' different KG have different standard (except those well-known KG with high standard).

DGS appreciate girls who are presentable & confident, willing to express, that is what I learnt from my friends whose girls are now in DGS (most of them are not the top 3 in their K3 class but are very smart girls).

Of course, parents' education level is also one of their concern. My friends even told me, parents are also hv dressing code (ie. suit).

Just want to know how can they know the education level of the parents ? The app. form did not ask questions of parents' education. I also wondered why they didn't ask this when I was filling in the form. Tks.

In the supplementary info., you can submit a sheet of personal particulars summarizing your girl academic & non-academic performance, awards, extra curricular activities, and of course, parents' details which you think an advantage to her application (like job title, education level, etc.)
