English and Mandarin as medium of instruction - more practical

HACS - no school fees and good secondary school guaranteed

If you may send your girl to study overseas in the future, maybe SFA better.  If you plan to stay in HK, then choose HACS.

請問考天神小二的形式是怎么样？有沒有筆試和面試，會考什么呀，你几月入信呀？你知不知今年有几多人考，收几個呀？

你客氣喇.天神只係考筆試,sat考完mon就覆喇.我曾經打過去問就話叫7月攞埋成績先寄去,但我五六月就連埋上學期成績表寄左去喇,咁7月中就有信叫去筆試,大約個半鐘都係測中英數,我女就話唔難.都有十幾個廿個到,收幾多就唔知,只係註冊果日個修女比d通告我地係攞小一果d黎改d字,佢話佢地一向都好少收插班生咋,所以我諗佢地唔收得多掛.

Today (perhaps it is more accurately to say yesterday at this moment), I had a family gathering with my elder brother's family.  Incidentally when we talked about primary education, I was told by my sister-in-law about her daughter's case when she studied Primary One in HACS years ago (NB: her daughter (i.e., my niece) will be attending Year II at The University of Hong Kong in the coming term).

According to my sister-in-law, she felt so relaxed at the beginning when it appeared to her that my niece was doing fine at her P.1 without additional or supplemental lectures given by private tutor.  It seemed to my sister-in-law that my niece's performance at school was very good if not excellent, as she was able to obtain 90+ marks in ALL SUBJECTS.

My sister-in-law was astonished later when it transpired to her, after the year end examination, that my niece was only ranked 36 in her class which had a total of 38 pupils.    She was then interviewed by my niece's class teacher, who told her that the school had seriously considered requiring my niece to REPEAT P.1 but only finally decided to grant her a chance to get promoted to P.2!     

I believe you can probably figure out how the life of my niece was, both at and after school, since her P.2 school term began.

Having said that, you need not so worry about your daughter if she is to attend this school, as my niece's case was more than 10 years ago from now.  I have no idea as to the recent situation.

謝謝你的回覆。我看你囡囡的成绩一定很好，其實你有無問吓囡囡喜歡讀那一間小學呀？我朋友個仔叩門入了SFA P.1, 她現在15, 16 ，她喜歡SFA的英數程度高，但又覺學校課室小，要仔洗手間比較 dirty ，你又覺得SFA 点呀？

我就覺得sfa,英文程度高同有英數&gs現仲有埋普通話上中文堂仲正,對上英中有好大幫助,至於你話課家細咁佢地係舊校就真係冇法,我只注重敎學質數我當初知sfa要40幾人一班我都怕怕地,因我囡囡間學校32人我女都話嘈到上唔到堂,咁佢地咁多咪好嘈,跟住問d轉左去讀d家長,佢地話雖然係40幾人一班但佢地上堂好靜架個個都好留心.咁我諗e d就係佢地學校既本事.可以另到d小朋友個個都又乘又叻.
同埋佢地一年有好多評估架,所以可以keep住d成績,唔洗一到考試測驗就讀到死死下.

今年超收起碼70人,但我所識都有十個放棄唔讀, 有d考到更好dss 同私校,有d就大抽獎中左頭獎

是呀！個小朋友好叻呀！他的中英數應有小一程度，他的妈妈很用心裁培佢。

我聽講只考筆試 (中英數) 。

係呀小一只考筆試咋,小一考中英數各3張paper,插小二就英文7張,數同中就大約各4-5張到考完就校長會同每位小朋友傾兩句咁.

I am not Holy Angel's parents but old girls.  I like this school very much. Nice teacher, good campus.  If  I have a girl, I must send her to Holy Angel's, no doubt. The girls there are really good at discipline and academic.  One of my friends (she is an old girl too) teaches there.  She loves teaching there very much.  The headmistress now is my old class teacher! :wink:

If you want your girl has a terrible primary school life, choose Holy Angels. They are famous in duck feeding their students but comes out the end the standard is still behind St Mary.

I knew someone studying there, everytime she had test, she had fever. It was the pressure that made her fever (told by the doctor)

有冇人知道天神嘉諾撒入讀 St. Mary 的百份比，及其他同學派位如何？ SFA就很清楚，至於其他主觀評語，可能以偏概全，只能作為參考。

如果今介就有199人有99去第一志願(我估係st. mary掛),如果問一條龍果d比率即今年讀小二果d,校長話有75%直升,如下就係留班or揀去第二度.
