LCM vs ESOL

I've no idea on Cambridge pre-starter course cos kids can only take this exam at PRC.

Unlike Cambridge Starters/Movers//Flyers tests in HK,  Trinity and LTEFC have no AGE restrictions in taking their exams. If your kid is able to take the challenge, you can go for it.

I know a K1 student got a "ass with Distinction" results at the Trinity Speech and Drama exam last year!!

which centre does the k1 student attend for Trinity Drama & Speech course ???  i want my son to attend trinity as well, but most of the centre doesn't accept k1 kid.

Yes, Ernest is free to attempt any stage.  The next exam is in August but if I remember corrctly, applications had already been closed in May.  He probably has to attempt the Nov/Dec exam.  You may call The Little Prince for more information.  

Honestly, I believe all stages are too easy for most kids.  They are judged more on their confidence than on the standard of English.  My friend's son, who speaks English exclusively at home, got only a pass in both stages 1 & 2 because he was reluctant to enter the room and talk to the examiner.

My son Matthew will be 4 this August, & will start LCM stage 2 at Little Prince for the 1st time tomorrow & will take the exam in August.  I went to Little Prince once & didn't have good impression on it.  Maybe they just had a small rennovation at that time, so I felt kinda smelly.  I know Daniel boy finished the course.  how's the center & the course?  Did Daniel take stage 2 exam?  does anyone know about the Speak & Spell english center on Prince Edward Road?  What about Kumon?

Daniel didn't "finish" the course.  He started going to LCM lessons when he was 3.5 years old and only took the Stage 1 exam in April.  He enjoyed the classes in the beginning but later refused to go for various reasons eg. don't like the teacher, no fun, need more time to play, etc.  (Don't take his words too seriously!)

Don't know anything about the renovation and the smell.  I haven't been there for a while because my husband is usually the one who sends him there.  Yes, Daniel is taking Stage 2 exam because he asked for it.    He is a rather weird person.  He told me he found the classes boring but then, he enjoyed exams!

DanielBoy:  Today, Matthew & Rex just finished their 1st class at LCM (they're in same class at SC).  Once Matthew arrived, he wanted to go wee, & the teacher took him to the corner & gave him a plastic bag & a potty.  That kind of scared Matthew & me off, & he insisted not to wee like that, so I had to take him to the restaurant to wee.  A/way, the class was fine to both boys.  So, Dan is not taking the course a/more, but will just go for the exam in August?  I just heard from Joycelyn Sun (our neighbour) that Dan is in same class with her.  I guess Dan is just famous.

I also hate the idea of wee in the potty so we usually take him to the toilet before class.  Daniel can't sit for the exam without attending their course in Little Prince but he will only take the minimum number of classes which is 8.  Yes, Joycelyne is in the same class as Daniel.  She is one of the most charming little princess in Apple (b) while my Daniel is ~~~~ famous for being naughty, talkative and restless. He always makes me so embarrassed whenever I go to pick him up from school that I want to hide.  He had been punished by Mr. Nathan of the Little Prince twice for being naughty and he probably is the only one ever punished by the same teacher.

Why Dandan become such lovely baby ah ?  Did he enjoy his school in SC ?

Dandan is a talent boy ma, he didn't need to put much efforts but still can get good results.  

My elderly boy will graduate this year and I believe SC is a good school to fit him.

Just saw your message.  Hi, Long time no chat!
Time flies!  Ronnie is going to P1 after the summer.  Wow!  He was so smart even when I first met him.  He must be even smarter now.  How is Owen?  I miss his shy but cute face.  Agree that SC is an excellent kindergarten.  Daniel is doing very well and he enjoys going to school everyday.  Both my husband and I are satisfied with the teachers and staff.  They are really helpful and willing to communicate with parents.

Why DanDan has become such a lovely baby?  HaHa!  He used to be such a lovely baby but has now turned into a little devil.  That's why I put his picture here to remind me of the good old days!    Want to call you for a chat and some advice.  When is the best time of the day to call you?
